One crazy thing is... when kids need you the most is often when they are preteens and going through big changes very quickly. Worse yet, to be loved when young and then neglected when older will always feel like abandonment and rejection and will interfere with their health, perhaps for the rest of their lives.

It is common for a bad dad to focus on small children. Small children are easy. After children grow older, they start thinking and it gets harder. It is common in polygamy to throw away older children, especially boys.

I remember when I received this kind of treatment. While separated my ex and I were in a restaurant when he told me he was done, he did not want to talk about us anymore. As we walked out, he hung back to speak to someone I didn't know. I went on ahead to my car. He got mad because I didn't wait for him to say good-bye. Watching these interactions has been so similar to my experience, same blaming, speaking over, unrealistic and yes, gaslighting.

I heard a psychologist speaking about how narcissists often connect better to their children when they’re younger, because it’s the age that parents are still the center of their childrens universe. Once the child gets to/through the ‘complicated’ ages, they tend to lose interest, or the ability to connect because it’s no longer ‘about them.’ (not that it would be on-brand for a narcissist to admit such things.)

These women have covered for this man for 30 years. He is mad that they started to actually not hold his manipulation behind the scenes. He lost it when she called him out for screaming at her "choose your loyalties or you won't have a husband". I am sure it's not the first time he has treated them that way, but it's the first time they didn't hide it from the cameras.

Favoritism for all of the children? I think Truley, at the time she almost died under his supposed watch, would think otherwise. I think Savannah, who always seems to be the forgotten child, would view it differently.

The fact this man convinced not 1 but 4 women to marry him to begin with tells me some women will literally settle for anything.

Meri is single again, only dated for 4 months. Janelle never had a guy.

His narcissism was in overdrive during COVID and it showed. He likes acting like a victim when he is lazy with his kids. He acts like he didn’t chose this type of relationship and it comes with known burdens. I am so glad the three wives decided to live him with the only ones he he actually wanted, Sobyn Robyn. Narcissists deserve each other. When it was just 3 it worked because one was the legal one and the one who got them together, then Janelle was provider and helped them all money wise, then Christine was the support system, the mom of the family. Like it usually happens, when the mom has enough, the house breaks apart. Thank God they are all happy now.

Now Kodie is going to have to find another wife or wives, he’ll get bored with Robin sooner or later. Seems like all went to hell in a handbag when Robin joined them.

When the novelty wears off with Robin. When she can't have anymore kids and she isn't as hot in bed he'll kick her to the curb just like he did all the ones before her. She'll fall to the bottom to the totem pole and wife #5 will take her place.

Kody likes the puppies, but once they are past the puppy stage then he's ready to put them out and get a new one to play with. That's what I hear him saying.
