Rewatching this today is especially painful. Garrison was clearly affected very deeply by the comments and actions of Kody & Robyn. I'm heartbroken for Janelle, Christine, the siblings, and even Meri, but I'm particularly gutted for Gabe who had to find Garrison. Their lives will never be the same 💔 Rest in peace Garrison. I hope those inner demons you were fighting are quiet now and you are surrounded by only angels.

What breaks my heart is that those kids and parents heard and watched Kody say the kids were jerks and that he doesn't want to take to or be around them. I sincerely hope he recognizes this. Be a damn father and keep some thoughts and feelings to yourself. Be a damn father and work to rebuild your relationship with them, whether they want to be around Robyn or not. You're supposed to fight for your children, no matter what age they are. Robyn can fight for herself. She wants to play victim knowing that Kody will come and kiss all her emotional boo-boos. IDK how he looks at himself in the mirror everyday. Especially now that Garrison is gone. Knowing that he's in a place where he no longer feels the pain from his dad. Instead he sits at the feet of the Father and knows only peace.

Yes it makes sense to me as well, distance makes the heart grow fonder. At least now they are able to cherish those moments that they do get to see each other.

Kody only respects his younger children because they can be molded and controlled. As soon as someone grows into their own person and can make their own choices and think their own thoughts he will abandon them because he realizes he has no more control. And that applies to everyone in his life not just his children.

It is not a child’s job to make sure they retain a relationship with their parents. It’s the parents’ responsibility first and foremost to foster a relationship with their child and if the child has no interest in doing so, then it is the parents’ job to reflect on the role they play in the situation and how they can fix it. They did not ask to be born into this situation….

Kody not only rejected his children but their mothers too ("I never loved them"). Now Garrison is gone - that poor boy; God only knows what these children are going through behind the scenes.

At this point, Robyn says she’s not talking to these kids anymore. Kody flat out calls Garrison a jerk on national tv. Then neither of them take accountability when their action cause Garrison’s death. All while I sat and watched.😭RIP GARRISON. Thoughts and prayers to Janelle, Gabe and every other family member. I didn’t watch for awhile when Gabe broke down last season. It was excruciating, and I do not know these people! If my husband made one of my kids feel that way, I would LEAVE HIM , without question. HOW could his father watch that and not immediately mitigate the situation? He is truly despicable, I fear this could have grave impacts for that poor kid.

Christine and Janelle are doing the best kind of parenting here: sitting and listening to their children calmly, without expressing judgement, without weighing in, when heaven knows they have opinions on this. They've done such a great job of bringing up these children to care for each other and think for themselves. My heart goes out to Janelle especially.

Kody IGNORES his 'in-town' kids. Truely and Savanna have totally different relationships and Savanna lives 20 minutes away from him. He didn't even PHONE her for Christmas! Truely lives 5 hours away and he bought her a Christmas present, and had her over for Christmas Day! Nothing to Savanna. Christine was RIGHT!

I might be the vindictive mom who let that relationship die due to a lack of interest on the dad's part. I hope I wouldn't, but I know myself pretty well. Driving Truely to another state (5 hours away) every month, or more often, is a big deal. Christine deserves stars in her crown for doing that.

The way Garrison is completely dismissing how he has been abandoned by his father, and the bravado of it not phasing him at all…other than poor Gabe’s tears, that’s one of the saddest moments ever. Kody must have lost his mind to be allowing this to happen, the OPPOSITE of being a MAN. Adult children NEED you; what an unbelievable prick. My husband would cut off his own hands before EVER hurting his children like this, it’s stunning. It literally would never happen, my kids are so very lucky. 😢

Kody did choose Robyn and her kids. It was obvious right from the start with all of the stuff they did when the kids were adopted. Robyn's kids were being doted on in front of the other kids over and over. I would've been hurt if I had been one of his biological kids. And why was Robyn involved with what the kids were doing anyway? She always has to be over protective of her kids and she just alienates the other kids.

This video hits differently now after losing Garrison.

Watching this today, March 5, 2024, on the day Garrison has died. It is so heartbreaking to see this now. I truly hope the best for this family. I also hope that all the hard feelings have been worked through or were being worked through, because as a mother it would break my heart to be arguing with my child, and to lose them so horribly and so suddenly. Most of all, I hope Garrison is at peace now.

All you have to see is how Christine and Janelle’s children are thriving as adults. The break down of this family is saddening. The break belongs to Krusty the clown and Sobbing wicked stepmother. They are horrible! selfish! people who don’t care about the OG’s. Sobbin’ s children will be sucking off K/R the rest of their lives. I have 3 bonus kids, they were teenagers when we began our journey 35 years ago as a blended family, I love them to the moon.

Kody isn't interested into talking to any of the kids except for Robyn and her kids.

Robyn lives in her little bubble. It is astonishing how little she “sees”. She whines and cries why too much. You have kody whole hearted so quit talking . I have absolutely no opinion on kody!

My kids and I were excluded because of COVID. Hmm. . . it's almost like Robyn doesn't realize we can watch previous episodes.

Coming here after Garrison's death and it hits so HARD. It's HEART WRENCHING. This is THE WORST OUTCOME. These kids have cried for their father SO MUCH.

I cannot believe this has happened. Garrison seemed so level headed and mature. I hope that Bi t c h is happy. She destroyed this family. This is so heartbreaking.

I wonder how Robyn feels now knowing that one of his last Christmases on Earth, was riddled with her dramatics because she made it all about herself. 💔

Thank goodness the older kids can not be guilt-tripped or manipulated by ROBEIN!!!! She is just FULL OF KAKA! I hope Janelle Christine and all the kids get their show.

I don't think she feels guilty, but I think she mourns the sliver of a relationship that she once had with her father. On her channel, she says she feels sad about what she and her siblings have, bitter memories and hurt feelings. But she tells him that he is wrong when she is defending her mothers and older siblings. But remember, ROBEIN has also ostracized her because of orientation, and she has love for her younger siblings, but they didn't let her be around them. And I feel this is why ROBEIN was pushing Zoom. Because of all her grievances with certain kids, she doesn't have to be around them or her kids physically.

@@adeho789 I don't know if it's Robyn that is doing all this, but more like Mykelti desperately wanting to cling to the hope that her father would want any type of relationship with her, so she'll ignore the obvious signs about who he really is

I hope Robyn and Kody are proud of themselves for how they've cut down and manipulated Kody's older children over the years. Poor Garrison looked like he wanted to break down throughout this whole episode, but he was trying so hard to put on a brave face.

Robyn came in, ruined the family fun( she doesn't dance, is boring for that family), and keeps her kids away from birth father who is sick. Ugh, so sad. RIH GARRISON. ❤❤❤. I WILL MISS YOU.

I love that when Gabe hugs he truly HUGS… isn’t a side hug, it is a full-on hug.

The older kids reach out wanting to meet in person to do a gift exchange. How on earth can Robyn and the older daughters turn that into “they don’t want to spend Christmas with us?” They are both old enough to be able to read what it says in the text. Robyn clearly didn’t want to meet them which is why she was pushing FaceTiming. As soon as she loses control she turns to crying and this is what she teaches her kids. How will they managed in life!? Not everyone responds to crying like Kody. She is setting them up for possible failure. That isn’t ok. Toughen up.

👏 👏 👏 👏 These kids are taking away Robyn's control and, they're clearing in pain from loosing their dad. This is happening all over the world. Breanna is a spitting image of Robyn right down to how she expresses herself. Shame on Robyn's for manipulating Mykilte with her nonsense into delivering a mean message to her biological siblings.

It amazes me that Kody and Robyn can't see their part in the fall out. It's so easy to say I am sorry I made my kids feel this way.

I can actually understand EXACTLY what Christine was saying about moving to preserve the relationship. I remember thinking I would’ve been better off if my mom wouldn’t have given my father exponential chances to be involved with me. That way I wouldn’t have had to experience one disappointment after the other 🤷🏽‍♂️ Too many empty promises made me numb, built a mistrust of adults and what they say vs what they do, and quite frankly caused me to grow up too soon and be conscious of my reality. I’m constantly preparing myself for the worst case scenario so that I’m not hurt or disappointed if it comes to fruition and STILL have trust issues til this day 😔 Moms did what she thought was best for me at the time tho so I can’t be mad at that. If anything, I admire her patience and resilience❤

Robyn has only ever cared about the mental health of her children. She played the victim and Kody fell right into her trap and neglected his other kids for going against him. Both are narcissists and now they have to live with the guilt. RIP Garrison💔

Robyn is the one who got Kody all flustered when Covid first hit. She went into full panic mode and freaked. I remember they (the wives) and Kody were facetiming and Robyn was in her car crying saying how scared she was. Kody was being the airhead jock about it until he saw Robyn acting like the wounded dove all the sudden. Being scared in that situation happened to a lot of people but it made no sense to separate all the households at their own determent over it. It didnt keep Kody and Robyn's house safe from covid so the hyper rules and tearing themselves apart was for nothing. Kody has to live with that. Robyn too.

I adore how tight Christine and Janelle are with each others kids it’s precious! Such a strong bond! It makes me sad about kodys relationship with his older kids it’s absurd how he blames everyone else for the break and it’s just ridiculous! He needs to take responsibility for his own actions !he’s broken relationships are his own doing not Christine or Janelle or anyone else!
