Even if you don't yet know James Jani, this video will cover:
✅ How YOU can go viral on KZread
✅ How the KZread algorithm works
✅ How to grow on KZread fast
✅ How to grow your KZread channel
James Jani posted his first KZread video, and publicly set a goal of 1,000 subscribers by 2021... In reality, he would end up reaching over half a million subscribers! And if you create videos yourself, you’ll know how powerful the KZread algorithm can be.
In James Jani's case, and in just a couple of months, he went from $0 to over $30,000 a month in KZread ad revenue alone, allowing him to do KZread full-time, and build a hugely profitable business using KZread. And at just 20 years old, he now averages more than 10x the views of some of the biggest business & entrepreneurship channels.
And yet, if you’re a creator who has been pouring countless hours into creating videos and getting nowhere, it’s tempting to conclude: The algorithm isn’t fair. It only helps the big channels. It’s just pure luck. But what if I told you, there is a framework we can use for KZread success, and that just like James, you can follow it too?
Through a combination of James’ posts, along with my own research & conversations with him, this video will delve into James’ incredible KZread story, how he beat the algorithm, and how you can too. I'm not saying it's easy, but James Jani is proof it is possible!

How James Jani Beat The Algorithm (The Rise of James Jani) - And How You Can Beat The KZread Algorithm & Grow as a small channel!
James Jani found himself in the world of online entrepreneurship - there was some bad advice (which would later lead to his ‘rise of fake fake gurus’ video), but he also heard some useful lessons, which led him to an idea: A KZread channel in entrepreneurship, business & money niche, that came from a much more genuine place. So, James began learning video editing, and researching how the KZread algorithm works. But... How did James Jani increase his KZread subscribers so fast, and get his KZread videos to go viral? This James Jani documentary will answer that. #youtuber #jamesjani

I'm studying youtubers and KZread in general (I'll be big soon), but it's refreshing to see someone do a video breaking down one of my favorite creators, because I came in on the initial wave of James Jani content and seeing his virality broken down is extremely useful. It's a good thing for notetaking because it shows just HOW far filling in a niche and providing legitimate content can take someone when they sit down and apply themselves; it's a prime example of why you should study, take notes, prepare, and practice before you start making KZread content. Thanks again for making such an amazing video on James, John. Particularly the part about emotion linked to virality and the responses elicited from audiences by viral videos was very interesting and informative. I hope you do more content like this in the future!

Coming from a white guy, they have extremely similar facial features their voice sounds the same, age, hair color, etc. I litterally was questioning if he was talking about himself in a weird third person narrative for the entire video. I've watched both channels, but usually stream when doing homework or on a long drive, so they may not look as similar as I think.

Thank you for watching, and I hope this video gave you a few insights that 'KZread gurus' don't normally talk about. James commented on a few of my old videos back when he first started on KZread, and so I have quite literally seen his channel from when he had under 1000 subscribers. We've spoken quite a few times since then, and it became clear that even though his editing is great, there were several other things he was doing that caused his videos to perform so well with the algorithm. However, even though we can work out what James did so well, that still doesn't mean it's easy. And so I just want to stress that this video is not claiming there's a magical cheat code for youtube success... what I am claiming is that this video will provide some tangible principles to focus on. I am very certain that if you focus on these things, your channel will grow faster. This channel certainly has started doing better since I adopted many of these techniques myself. Please feel free to subscribe if you'd like to see more James-inspired documentary style videos. 🔔

Very true. I think there are many different routes to success with youtube, but we know for sure what metrics the algorithm seems to value most, and so that's why in this video I was trying to focus on the things James did that sent the right signals to the algorithm (like the ways he's increases watch time, clickthrough rate etc). This was honestly one of the best videos about growing on youtube! I am an artist and mum of two. I started my channel back in october 2019. I thought it would help keep me accountable to do art if I commited to posting once a week, but all it really has done is make me do smaller quicker artworks, so I will have content. I have been breaking myself with the pressure of weekly uploads. All my enthusiasm is evaporating and I think I'm in Seth Godin's 'Dip' for a few months now turning into a pit. This is such a great insight you shared here my take away is that its ok not to post every week, one awesome video a month with an equally awesome artwork may actually be a better path to take! Thanks so much for this! 💜

  • @MagnatesMedia

    @MagnatesMedia

    3 жыл бұрын

Thanks for sharing, and I'm really glad this video was useful for you. You have already summed it up perfectly yourself, but I just wanted to say I completely agree. In my experience of analysing channels, one awesome video a month almost always beats a rushed weekly video. Especially if it's affecting your enjoyment of the process. Now of course, you don't want to become a total perfectionist where a video never gets posted because you're always trying to improve it even more, but I definitely don't think forcing yourself to stick to a weekly video is a good idea if it's negatively affecting your art and your enthusiasm. James Jani is proof that prioritising quality over quantity pays off, and now that I am focusing on 'documentary style' videos myself, I am starting to see a similar thing. Best of luck! :)

The James Jani phenomenon is so real that I immediately clicked when I saw a video for him, even 3 months later. His style and technics that I found in this video, as well, made me browse your channel and become a new subscriber, which is another confirmation. Keep the engagement and emotional part, add your distinctive style, and you have all chances to receive the same success and recognition. Good luck in your journey!

Thanks a lot Ivel, I really appreciate the support man! Well said, James definitely has that 'instant click factor'. As for this channel, I definitely have a few other videos like this, and lots more on the way soon too! I really want to keep improving and levelling up with each new upload. (However, just a quick... a lot of people are reporting that KZread AREN’T showing them new videos even though they’re subscribed, unless they turn on ‘all notifications’ by pressing the bell). It’s frustrating, as a lot people are missing the new documentaries as a result of this glitch, but just wanted to let you know in case you wanna make sure you see future videos. If so, please consider turning notifications on. Thanks again for the kind words man - you’re a legend!

Hey man, thanks for the great feedback! I'm very glad you enjoyed the video, as I've really been trying to prioritize quality over quantity lately, and my goal is to keep improving the videos even further. As for your questions, I'll list some resources below: 🎵 Music I use: www.slip.stream/?fpr=john19 use code JOHN02 for 20% off! (there's a free version too) + also www.epidemicsound.com/referral/1d3bmw/ - both are great for youtube as you can filter by genre/mood etc. 📺 Stock footage: pexels, pixabay etc - lots of good copyright free material that's 100% free to use. If you want more professional, I use storyblocks. You can also use 'fair use' principle to utilise copyrighted material like myself and James do. I have a full video about how fair use works on my channel if you're interested in that. 🧰 For My Equipment & Recommendations, I made a list: magnatesmedia.com/equipment 🎨 Editing Software I use is the Adobe suite. Free trial: magnates.media/editing -- however you can use any editing software, the key is following tutorials to learn the techniques. (Or alternatively, outsource editing & build a team: magnates.media/fiverr ) However, if you are looking for my full system for making videos, and building a profitable channel, I do have my own youtube course. If you'd like some more info, check out: magnates.media/youtube and feel free to drop me an email john@magnatesmedia.com if you have any other questions. Best of luck with your videos, and thank you for watching & supporting this channel. Stay tuned, because I have lots of bigger and better videos on the way very soon! 😁

You can try it for free for 14 days too with link in description so don't have to commit to paying anything. However I also think just watching other videos for inspiration, and then looking up free tutorials on youtube of how to achieve similar effects, is a great way to improve as well. I'm now in a position where I can have an editor help me too, and I would definitely recommend that if it's an option, as this kind of style can be time consuming to do everything yourself (although I still think it's worth it long-term). After I came across your video about tencent I started to watch your other videos and they are all sooo good. I Love the stoytelling and the information you put out and shared it with my friends. I have been bingewatching your videos and today I see this video and though that you really do a lot of these things. Everything is so well explained as well as the music plays a keyrole. I love your videos. Keep up thos work!!!

Scarcity: you not only click when you see them, you also search them and end up bumping into his fans work. Cool work though. I love your video editing too

Haha thanks man, I have been trying to incorporate the high quality editing into my videos lately - I'd love your feedback on some of the other recent documentaries if you ever get chance to check them out? Either way, thank you for the support!

Thank you very much! James has definitely inspired me to try and focus more on the 'mini-documentary' style in my own content too :)

I started watching his video on the fake millionaire guy on my phone, 5 minutes in I had to stop and watch it on my tv. It was a documentary that was presented as if it were professionally made. It deserved a bigger screen ❤ I subscribed instantly! I ADORE long YT videos that are well made 🎉 I can’t quite believe it’s free 🙌🏻
