I also just downloaded BO4 again because of these videos. Probably going to buy it again for zombies when Microsoft puts it on Steam later this year due to the Blizzard acquisition.

I am eagerly awaiting the next video. I dropped bo4 after the launch issues, and as you have stated the sheer overwhelming changes to gameplay were just too much for me. I had largely skipped bo3 (I had no friends to do easter eggs at the end of bo2 life cycle, and only came back to bo3 for zombies chronicles) so yeah I just wrote it off as another great franchise being ruined due to the passage of time. Your videos have helped me look at these maps through a new lense and I also cant wait to see how the Chaos story plays out!

I've been a part of the community since Syndicate hit 115, and I actually liked a lot of the Chaos storyline! My biggest issue was just the swamp of special enemy types. However, I do wish the focus was more on Aether than Chaos. Maybe they should've done Aether, and then had an event and revealed Chaos to us

I love IX man, its crazy to me how that is the best chaos map (imo) and is also the first one.

Many people dont like bo4, but i thoroughly enjoyed Alpha Omega, Classified, Ancient Evil, IX, and Dead of The Night. I want to try the easter eggs on bo4 too but i have no one to play with

@RandoManFPV the revising of how the perks work was definitely weird my first time playing, instead of having just good perks and bad perks, they all can be made useful on certain maps and suck on others.

Death of Orion could’ve alternately upgraded into Scorpios stinger, since that’s the constellation (picture form stars in the sky) of the scorpion, which is if I’m not mistaken winter or spring in appearance because it’s always sequentially after Orion, like you said, Scorpio is chasing the hunters belt after all this time

I actually think dead of the night is way better than IX

I personally do too. But I think objectively from a game dev perspective it is the superior experience. But as a hardcore fan Dead of the Night is my fav.

@@AfterlifeAnalysis Couldn’t agree more. All my more casual friends live and die by IX, whereas I love DOTN, and that’s not a bad thing.

I think Treyarch should keep giving Chaos some support, maybe as a DLC for the next CoD game when the main life cycle is over, or better yet, it's own dedicated game. Becuase it really does seem like they wanted to full send this, but maybe shouldn't have been the main focus of all their efforts in BO4. Like it would be dope to see where the Chaos story would go.

Question; will you be doing a Cold War retrospective? Since its life is now lived?

9 was a weird map for me, I felt like the more I played it the more I would rather be playing the alcatraz mk2 map, not that it was terrible just that i couldnt bring myself to care about the chaos crew, and the tone was never something I liked (i was a weirdo who hung out below the surface level because it felt more "zombies" then the surface areas) the egg was really good, but felt weird in that the boss was very different then anything else in the game, I always tried to solo and it made me so annoyed because the elephant felt like was originally designed to be baited between multiple players, though I vaguely remember that they updated the AI for the elephants at some point. the map wasnt bad, it just doesnt feel like it was made for zombies fans, it feels like it was made for newbies and those who were playing four player multiplayer, though that may just be perception. Also, before we figured out what was up the cutscene was good but I felt like it always kinda ruined all the time and energy I put into the easter egg. "oh if you die you just arent in the vision any more luls" lastly the wonderweapon, where to start with this thing, its always been good as cc, but if you have 4 players who all have it you can clear nearly infinite rounds by standing back to back and each covering an entrance in certain rooms while using another weapon to deal the damage, a lot of things on this map kinda feel like that, crappy in singleplayer, amazing for multiplayer, same with the steps where you have to kill specific zombies in tight places, those are so much easier with at least one person on each floor. the way you setup your loadout beforehand has a weird impact on engagement, you want to play more zombies (as a mode) to level weapons and make you get more stuff to chose early on but once you get good attachments for weapons you like and have a starting weapon thats really good and you enjoy the desire to play drops off a cliff because you lose the meta progression dopamine as well as having a super easy time for the most part.

Sometimes my mouth gets really dry. And maybe I was just sharp with my S's and my P's. But I do really try to keep it level. I was an audio engineer for years.

I don't really get your point when you said that Black ops 1-2-3 the map offered featured variety compared to "menu variety" in bo4. Gameplay variety on each map exist and does not only rely on choosing your loadout and getting helion slavo and spamming specialist. Honestly never really played BO4 that way and i understand that it offer a more "linear" experience if you only do that but each map offer the same amount of variety if it's not more in some maps. When you say, you just have to want it to play another experience than Hellion salvo + Specialist. Personally i've never play the same loadout in each map since the beginning. In the same way you can say a lot of solo player will take "Quick revive, jugg, double tap and P.H.D or Widows wine and get the WW (and AAT in BO3) in every zombies map. The game offers you variety but it's not because you choose to only play one thing because "it's the more powerfull" that the other options are completety useless. I understand the "you can do the same thing in each map" compared to the other Black ops but i think it's not really relevant to reduce bo4 to one specific loadout, because you can do the listing of the "perfect" set up in every zombies map as well but doesn't mean it's the only way to play the maps.

I did that once on another video. And I won't be doing it anymore. I want to get natural data to make informed decisions ab my future on KZread. Although i appreciate your concern, it's not really anyone's business what I do or don't do with my content. People keep thinking it's stealing without even realizing that the thumbnails are the original files without text or edits. How would a thief acquire those? The IX video had an additional 10-15 seconds bc of the avenged sevenfold segment. How would the thief alter that? Also, why would anyone steal from a channel with 16k subs to get fewer views? Just basic reasoning and logic will show that this isn't thievery. Either way, I do not need to disclose any reasons why I am doing anything. I have been doing it to be nice, which I shouldn't bc now it's messing up the natural draw, I want the videos to gather on their own, bc I am thinking ab rebranding and starting from scratch.
