@llsparkysll I'm not stealing, this is my new channel/rebrand. He's just confused. Here's a breakdown all about it and a video is going live on the first channel addressing this non-issue. This is a comment I left to someone else who was saying similar things ab my intention here. I will explain 100% exactly what my intention was with this channel. I have been BUSTING my tail trying to figure out how to make KZread work for about 4-5 years now and in April 2023 I finally figured out how to make videos that work for my style of content creation. I had tried news, let's plays, commentaries... you name it I have probably tried it and FAILED miserably at it. Then one day I finally figured out what my "style" or "voice" is, put it out there for the world and it all finally clicked. However... there was a few issues because of the way I had handled my previous content with my "main channel" (if you want to call it that), which just impeded my growth and never really allowed things to take off in the way I had anticipated/hoped they would. And that's okay! It's no one's fault but my own! I made a ton of mistakes and have thankfully learned from them. The second point here is that this was initially just a analytics test as I also work for a media company that does KZread stuff and we are always trying to help clients grow and teach them how YT works (I specifically teach the course on analytics for high paying clients). So I thought... "what if I take my new/best content and put it on a channel with zero subs? what would happen?" Well at first... nothing happened. Months went by and no one watched anything. I forgot about it until 2 weeks ago when one of my videos start getting traction on this channel. I have taken it as a sign to move over to this channel making it my main channel now and my previous channel will be for livestreams, shorts, other fun stuff. But this type of content is what I want to make and building the audience from the ground up with this style from the start is going to be very helpful in the long run. I have just over 16K subs on the first channel, which took me 4 years to build. It took me 2 years to get to 1,000 subs on that first channel. So a fresh start, with the audience that wants this type of content is going to serve them best and can hopefully allow me to go full time on YT one day. That being said, all these videos that have overlap, I am not going to monetize as I think that is immoral to the audience, and I will finish this BO4 series on the first channel so that they can complete their journey with me - but once that is done, I will be completely focusing my attention on Afterlife. You forget to mention one of the best things about the map is the music. I know you played the music a little in the video, but this map (and bo4 as a whole) have some of the best music associated with it. Music is a huge part of the atmosphere you mentioned earlier, it makes the map as good as it is.

Music is important. I do consider that to be a part of the overall atmosphere, but yeah I didn't specifically mention it - I try to play the maps music in the background so people can hear it in the video for nostalgia purposes. I try to mix a variety of show not tell tactics and switch things up video to video depending on the context.

Not really related to zombies but still related to bo4, I do agree this game has the best music of all time lol, especially the MP theme that theme i would honestly consider on par with BO2’s MP theme

There is extra information given for the bird step - if you go to the gondolas prison position and look out towards the sea with the shield out, you can see the bird flies in one of a few directions, narrowing down the location substantially.

This shit is to good to have under 10k views

I'll take your word for it, but if you let a pap location ruin a map for you then maybe you should play a different game :/ I get if the map is just blatently bad, but people loved tranzit so I don't see a problem

@@captain_boxthe difference though is that DE’s pack a punch’s are way closer to each other due to the map’s flow and size. Blood is big as shit and literally each location is equally distant from each other (spawn, roof, and dock) and on opposite ends of the map

Actually Jason blundell was originally a producer at treyarch he was one of the producers of call of duty 3 and he worked on the campaigns of waw bo1 and bo2 before he worked on zombies

i am SO glad you talked about the games release state in this video. many people i see that praise blood of the dead fail to mention how the game was nearly unplayable for 90% of players on launch. while i fell out of black ops 4 before even dead of the night, i recently went back to beat every black ops 4 easter egg and actually didnt think Blood was that bad of a map. granted, the bird step is still totally unfun (and still bugged, sometimes the bird just doesnt show itself even when im looking at every possible spawn around its cry). as for the new industries challenge, on solo its best to bodyblock the ghost as its moving to extend the time you get to drain it with the key. however, much like the solutions for other steps, like the monkey bombs being needed for brutus secret door, and needing to tomahawk the bird on its last appearance instead of shield blasting it like you had been doing, all of these steps feel somewhat random or bugged, as the little things necessary just feel complex for no reason, whenever simply finding these steps is already complex enough. despite all thats wrong with the map, i still find myself coming back to do botd simply because its one of the few easter eggs thats still a challenge, even if half of the challenge is fighting the games mechanics rather than the map itself

For me, blood of the dead is taxing, as I feel compelled to min max, and then I would always get caught in the Easter egg. My short term memory is fucked, so the power station challenge is extra hell-ish (no pun intended). Love the content though. And I hope you keep it up!

U forgot that stulinger was in the map and talking to richtofen while doing the easter egg. The ending is more sad if u have stulinger talking to u and saying to richtofen that he doesnt want to be alone again.

BRO the level of quality in these videos is through the roof! It must have taken ages to make this, major props. Looking forward to seeing the whole BO4 series and hopefully more. I'd love to see your take on other less popular zombies games in your style!

I still don’t think 16k subs is some astronomical number (most of which is boosted by shorts). I don’t make a living on KZread or anything. I’m moving over to this channel bc I want a fresh start now that I understand how to make content and I want to give the audience what they want from the beginning. It took me over 3 hours to beat this EE. I beat it and never touched it again. That was now 4 years ago. Will forever and always be a bops 3 diehard. Still play it to this day!

there actually is an easier way to do the bird step, if you go to the gondola, and at the start of the round when the bird will spawn/move to its new location. Look out into the ocean through your shield, and you’ll see a dash of blue lighting and it will go to a certain area of the map, if it goes left go to left side of the map if it goes right go to the right, if it goes up it’s on the roof,cell blocks and upper areas of the map if it goes down it’s in the under area and docks. The bird will NEVER spawn in the wardens house only one spawn outside

I just can't get past the fucking invisible bird step, zombie blood always runs out before I even have the chance to spot the bird even tho I know where it is because I can hear him. Blood of the dead is the only easter egg where I really struggle at a particular step so hard.

My biggest issues with the map is that the fast travels suck, and pack a punch moves with no indication of where its at

ever since this map came out i honestly really liked it, aside from the easter egg and its steps. the storyline and lore is amazing, the music, the scenery, the ambiance etc. this map would probably be ALOT of people's favourite map or top 3 minimum if it was on black ops 3s engine and perks instead. i think the bugs at the beginning of the games cycle and things like that contribute to people hating this map. not to mention, the most heartbreaking and best cutscene at the end in zombies imo. the hype this easter eggs finale brought to us all, with all the "what ifs" and theories about where the story was going was amazing. also special shout to the music and ost in this map, its just PERFECT.

My issue with Blood of the Dead is its over reliance on the Spectral Shield for quest and easter egg progression. It's simply not fun to use and is highly limiting. It gets very difficult to get shield charges in later rounds and you can only have 3. It's a very limited and difficult to acquire resource that is needed for everything on the map. It is also a very challenging map with lots of tight spaces, which isn't necessarily bad, but can be frustrating. As cool as the Catwalk sequence is the first time, it can be a death sentence if you aren't careful. Zombies can run directly at you, swipe at you from the sides, and chase you from behind so it's very easy to get overwhelmed. I dread having to cross it. I also have issue with the Aether Story in Black Ops 4 in general as I find it to be an unnecessary continuation of the story, that kind of derailed the entire Black Ops 4 Zombies mode as a whole. Chaos Story was abandoned in a state of limbo and the final two maps of the game were reimagining's of old maps that very hastily told a story that needed more time to breathe.

Blood of the Deal was and will always be my favourite Zombies map in CoD history. It was the first map where I did the Ee with a group of friends which absolutely were hating on the steps and Bo4 mechanics in general. Tbf some of the things are ofc not perfect but in general it’s a good map with awesome looking spots and a great story. At least once a month i come back to it and enjoy my 2 hour session again. Blood will stay in my heart forever when it comes to Call of Duty

If black ops 4 had its actual 2 year life cycle we would’ve gotten ZC2 all the parts for those maps were there in black out like they had the all of buried in it

The biggest problem with a reimagine is that it will be compared to the original. And when the original is considered as a masterpiece, more likely than not, the reimagine will be seen as worse. I think that if people didn't play MOTD first they wouldn't be so harsh on MOTD. But all of the die hards already played MOTD so nothing we can do there.

I honestly think if blood of the dead was a standalone game for like 20$ it would be extremely highly praised. The only reasons I really see for the hate is -Buggy launch -Tied to Bo4

I genuinely think that if BO4 launched in a more stable state it wouldn’t be half as hated as it is. I also think if BOTD made you do a handful of the challenges instead of all of them it’d be considered well into mid to high B tier. I don’t think black ops 4 has any bad maps aside from voyage

i think because maybe it wasn’t jason’s story. it was jimmy’s i could be wrong idk but maybe that’s why once he had full on control he could do what he wanted. he basically ended the ether story in b03 after they kicked jimmy from the main creative director. that’s why he pushed chaos so hard cause it wasn’t his story so :/

What ultimately sucked and sad about it is that apparently, despite BOTD was planned from the start, Treyarch STILL couldn’t get the Mobsters cast for the map, as once again in the case of COTD, royalties and paying celebrities are expensive and ain’t cheap.

They just approached it wrong it should of never been remastered like this and instead should of just been remade and extra rooms should be added with possibly a extra perk or just adding ones that weren’t in game

The bird step has been solved. It's not totally random as we all believed.

Yeah it definitely had issues. But at the end of the day these games last a long time (for zombies at least) and it's important for the community to see the lingering effects of the mode during the live service season. I failed to do that during cold war zombies and I now have a greater appreciation for it although I think it is severely lacking in some areas. Cod is a fickle beast. Lol

I really like the maps in black ops 4 but I think the only downside of the game in my opinion is the gameplay mechanics of it, it was such a weird shift from black ops 3 and some of the changes felt random, like putting load outs in zombies and completely getting rid of jug and double tap, I get it was to encourage you to play differently but how many times are you going to change your perks and weapons after finding the class you feel comfortable with?, or your character getting tired and makin you feel heavy while you jog(that’s me just nip picking), or the hud feeling crowded and not matching the aesthetic in the Aether maps like it does for chaos, it’s like they saw how perfect bo3 was and decided to downgrade for no reason. But that’s just me tho

All valid points though. I felt that way at launch but I have shifted my opinion over time. And as far as movement goes, if you haven't played the game on PC it is LIGHTYEARS better in terms of movement bc you can adjust an FOV slider. Plus the game just feels better overall. There are tons of sales if you ever can get it. But don't waste your money if you don't want too.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I actually like blood better than mob. It’s way more replayable for me.

Shit map was ass. Hated bo4 after this map. Couldn’t get my head over the dumb stupid quirks they did to that game. No jug but making it to where you can’t fucking play without a shield is annoying. All my friends just went back to black ops 3 especially with us not getting into the new story. It ruined zombies for me, even Cold War zombies got boring (still better than bo4) but it got boring

You should really take a look side by side next to bo3. Bo3 doesn't hold up nearly as well as people think. On pc, it's a different story as both games look great.

The shield suck challenge is not difficult at all: 1. Upgrade your shield 2. Get 4 blasts ready 3. At the end of the round keep two zombies alive 4. Go to the library and kill one of them 5. Keep the other zombie frozen with winter's wail while blasting the crap out of the ghost 6. Quit whining
