Cheers, mate :D
Fun fact, italophones and romanch swiss emigrated to Sicily to bring their patisserie in the island, the whipped cream, butter and viennoseries style pastry was something new to the sicilians tradition because they used only sweet ricotta , candied fruits and lard to prepare their treats, in order to preserve it from the hot clima, from this merriage the modern sicilian patisserie was born, there still great names in the industry until today, like "Caviezel" in Catania.

There is no such thing as a "wrong" time to eat ice cream ;)
Here in the Netherlands we also have a lot of icecream shops. I live in a small village and it has an icecream shop. The neigbouring village that is a large village has 3 icecream shops. Love your videos!!!!

I love Greek yogurt and honey and/or pistachios and have had that delicious kind of ice cream before. I have also really enjoyed flavors that are mildly exotic in today's USA, like red bean, tea, champagne, rosewater, sweet corn, etc. In the more distant past we used to enjoy more savory flavors, like tomato and oyster!
During a war give people more ice cream. Noted. ⛄

So this is why Wagner was led by a caterer...
Here in the USA, where ice cream is phenomenally popular and we have our own tradition, I had never even thought about the fact that ice cream can be a shop-produced or in contrast industrially produced and packaged supermarket product. Both are so popular here. But now that I think about it, yeah, in the UK and I believe other countries in Europe outside of its "homeland" it is very much a supermarket product period. In Italy it's a shop-produced product, and it's certainly interesting to know that it is in Austria and Germany as well, as "adopted" homelands.
Thank you for including the ice cream parlour in my city of regensburg. It is arguably one if not the best one in the city
Bloody Italians got us addicted to ice cream 😆Best thing which happend to us, since the Döner-Kebab.

Very true ;)
Not even ww2 man bad can stand up to gelato lol
I can't believe that you didn't even mention once the Spaghetti Eis. Probably the most famous type of ICe Cream that we have, made by an italo-german living in Mannheim
Yes! THANK YOU! Everything above 15 degrees Celsius is unbearable! Thats why I'll never understand those hordes of germans temporarily immigrating to Italy for their summer vacations! There's enough reason to immigrate to Italy, but just not in the summer, when even the Italians are leaving to bring delicious ice to Germany! I'd love to move to Italy, but it's just too hot! That's why they had to invent the greatest Ice Cream ever!

0:09 true fact, actually geht the "Grill" es ist gutes Wetter
6:00 The Seepferdchen is Maracuja-Mango flavour, why the name Seahorse? No Idea really, my guess is, simple for targeting children. My 5 year old Niece loves this ice cream after all.
2:07 IS THAT A BANGLADESHI TRADE LICENSE?
Wait, only 5400 in ALL OF GERMANY?? Or only these Italian style ones?

There probably where more in the 50s and maybe up to the 70s, but even when I was a kid, "going to the ice-cream parlor" was seriously un-cool (pun intended).
