A surprising amount of manual labor is involved here. Kind of reassuring, in a way. Again, another very interesting video of how a common object is made.

These shovels are made by Bulldog (UK), and considering how much work goes into making each one, they're reasonably priced.

I once asked my dad what was the difference between a spade and a shovel, he said a spade is for digging a hole, the shovel is for filling it back in again.

Sadly due to cheaper and inferior products from the Far East this company that has manufactured spades etc has now ceased trading.

That narrator can't pronounce words properly. First it was solder pronounced as'sodder', now on this video it's linishing pronounced as 'line-ishing' Linishing rhymes with finishing...try and get it right next time please, yours sincerely, The World
