Is the processing of canola oil a little bit gross? Probably.. but do I care? absolutely not...! Eat whatever you want in moderation dude!! Don't listen to those weird people with no shirts on run around in grocery stores claiming food and oils to be poisonous. They're most likely trying to sell an overpriced supplement to you.

How can a product with so much chemical treatment and refining processes be considered healthy? By the way, I've been trying to find the same video for soy oil, but they skip all of the chemical and refining processes. Never using seed oils ever again in my life

This rapeseed garbage is absolutely everywhere now. Cereal, potato chips, crackers, eggo waffles, fish sticks, pizza crusts. Virtually all restaurants use it as their fryer and grill oil because it's cheap. I developed an intense intolerance to this oil many years ago and it's gotten so hard to avoid. Meanwhile, coconut oil gives me zero problems. My research indicates there is a dramatic difference in oxidative resistance between coconut and other oils, it is robust as hell and refuses to break down even when reaching smoking point.

Hexane, which is a petrochemical used to extract the oils not just from canola but other types of beans such as soy etc. Definitely don't want to be consuming too much of these products.

The fact she doesn't state what the solvent is pisses me off. All the oil used from the cake is wat makes canola oil bad. Like wat are the "natural impurities"? Y are u using sodium hydroxide? Y are we bleaching? Jst leave the cake alone
