while sport jiu jitsu matches arent as interesting to me, i really love watching bjj or any other discipline being applied to a mma fight, you can be a champion in a certain art but not be able to apply it effectively in mma, other guys who are really good at applying bjj to mma fights and who really interesting to watch are rafael lovato and jake shields

I think anyone can adapt it to mma. But it's a time issue and takes dedication. Many wrestlers and Jiu-Jitsu practitioners struggle to adapt to mma at first. They just stick with it until they adjust. I like watching grappling in mma and adcc.

Ryan hall is by far my favorite fighter. But I wish he would fight more. I know a lot of people are ducking him, but still.

In Bjj can you fake a strike? Just to get a reaction not actually hit. Like a feint

It's really common when rolling, especially in open mat type situations, to agree to simulate strikes, to show your partner when he (or she) is vulnerable. Keeps people honest. But if you did it at a competition it would be extremely bizarre.
