I've visited one of the farms using a similar system. It's very humane, no bugs, the cows actively want to be milked. It's a good deal for the cow and a good deal for us.

Milk is almost a complete food. You didn't show the drier part where condensed milk is converted into powered form. Heated upto 180°C . Good video.👍

Milk powder is energy intensive to produce that's why it is expensive. The water condensed is treated and given back to the cattle. In all farming business profit always comes before welfare of the animals. A cow that produces low milk quantities is simply sent to the slaughter house to make beefburghers, leather to make shoes or clothing. The biomass produced to turn into biogas and fertiliser.
