Can’t tell you how many tears I cried when the women said “when we get back home I’ll buy the best vanity mirror” imagine having to hold it together and be so strong for your babies knowing even if they survive they may never go back to their home

The courage of this girl to comfort her grandmother and continue the making of the flat bread touched me to tears.

When the grandmother cried, I cried so much thinking that her entire life had been to suffer like this over and over and over since she was born, without the world doing anything to rescue her. She never experienced safety.

Guardian, can you please update us on this little girl Lina and her family? Havent been able to get her out of my head since I watched this feature, no child should ever have to go through this. Her little face is wrought with pain and sadness and those under eye dark circles show the stress she is dealing with. Despite this she still finds ways to comfort her grandmother and we see smiles peek out from here in there. Thank you for sharing her story. I pray and hope that she and her family survive the horror they are living.

Just because Israel has the right to defend itself does not mean that we remain silent about the exposure of an entire peaceful people, including children, to bombing, intimidation, and killing

I'm in awe at how the Palestinians find the strength to reminisce on their past lives that they will never get back, while instilling any hope they can in their children for a safe future full of everyday moments of joy, like the father saying he'll take his little girl to the park to play with everyone.

No matter which side you are on, u can't deny the fact that no children should ever live a life like this or even go through something like this. Absolutely heartbreaking.

I can't stop tearing up, my heart breaks for the innocents. Children are so sensitive and vulnerable, they especially should NEVER be exposed to such ruthless brutality. They must be protected and cared for no matter what, otherwise they will grow up to be mentally emotionally and most probably physically damaged, that is if they survive this unjust atrocity. My mind can't even comprehend the number of those killed. And it keeps rising every hour💔

As heartbreaking as this was to watch it is so important for everyone to see: at last Palestinians are given a voice, a name, a past, family, friends, grief, fears, hopes, dreams. Finally they are given their humanity back. 🇵🇸❤️

Despite the horrible conditions, I can understand why the kids still looks clean and tidy. Palestinian people are hygienic. The children are well mannered. "Thank you Dad" for just pouring water for her to clean her face. My prayers to all Palestinian. You`ll be free and regain back your land.

That break my heart, every night I go to a comfortable bed. And think how this people are out in the cold in bare floors and feeling unsafe. No one to guard their sleep. Waking up to a War zone no rest . And burden. By Netanyahu and the crew members of death, and devastation. I cry my eyes out. It hurts to see and witness, I can’t imagine having to endure, so much.
