Because nothing I seem to do erases the images of the horrors I've seen from my mind but I haven't yet tried the alternate reality that you live in.

As a child of Palestine the realisation or the knowledge that they were and still are living under an occupation seemed somewhat irrelevant. She says that before the war life was wonderful. Because she is only a child and what she had before the war was enough to make her happy. Being safe, going to school, having books and toys and beautiful clothes. These are the things that all children deserve 😢.

Israel killed, tortured and displaced Palestinians from their homeland. What happened on Oct 7 was wrong but Israel has been doing for last 75 years is also wrong and there's no justification of it. After Hamas's attack Israel had the right to defend themselves but that "self-defense" has now turned into genocide. Thank you so much for making this documentary. Elaf's mum is so strong, loving and resilient in courage and faith it's incredible to see. Despite chaos and destruction, not knowing if they will live to see the next day and yet their character stays strong, kind, thoughtful of others, loving, and caring. They are truly Allah's people. Elaf is a beautiful child who loves life and learning, to see her packing her toys, books and clothes in her little bag was just heart breaking and yet she remained so calm. This made me emotional 🥺 This family’s strength and resilience is beyond what can we imagine. Still smiling and being hopeful while their whole memories are being unjustly taken away… This little girl really deserves a better future, every children like her deserve to live a happy and safe life. They deserve to go to school, to play, to learn, to live their dreams. They didn’t ask for this. None asked for it. The trauma they have been experiencing is too much, I can’t even imagine. Some of them are waiting for a doctor appointment or a surgery for their health. I’m tired of this crazy madness from our governments that really don’t care about innocent lives. Utter crap. Israel provided energy totally for free for the people of gaza but the leaders of Hamas charged the people in poverty. They built tunnels and pocketed billions of dollars to live a life of luxury. The son of one of the main leaders bought jewellery worth two years wages and the money they took went into their own property portfolio.

The saddest part for me is not translated. As they’re leaving their old home after packing their stuff, her brother says you left your doll. She tells him it’s to big to take 😢this may seem insignificant but really it’s an end of childhood. Even a child has to be practical it’s very sad. I’m glad she got to take it in the end

I cried throughout and felt ashamed of my own complains about life. So much injustice and they still stand strong and their faith unshakeable. May Allah give them further strength and victory against the evil occupiers. Ameen

I’ll forever admire their perseverance & resiliency. It’s unmatched & truly untouchable. Their faith in God does not waiver even in the most atrocious of circumstances. That said, my heart breaks knowing they deserve better. I love you Palestine. & I’m so sorry for all your pain & suffering. The land of Palestine must be returned to its original owners. ​@@CharodyParodyOnly a small percentage of Gaza would have voted Hamas, half the population wasn't even born at the time of the last elections when Hamas got in, half of those who were old enough to vote would have voted the other way.

The first thing i did when i woke up on Christmas was cry for all of the people just trying to survive with everything stacked against thier future. Amazing how strong the people are around Is re al. For what is all of this suffering?

You dont see the distress in their faces and actions, you dont hear them cursing, blaming, begging and asking for mercy... Very, strong and courageous people and they have the highest level of faith in the Creator... Keep the faith! 🙌 The Creator is just and fair, will not let the evilness conquer and go unpunished.

As a child who grew up in a home where my "father" beat me, my mom, and siblings. Where he psychologically, and verbally abused us and a home where he sexually 2 of his 3 daughters, my heart and soul break for these precious babies. These children will suffer unimaginable pain, loss and trauma. They will pass it down to their children for multiple generations. All because adults can't get it together. All because one group think they are better than the other. These children will be diagnosed with a variety of mental illnesses. They will develop suicidal ideation and Unspeakable depression. Pray for Palestine

I agree, but having faith, loving parents, friends, siblings to go through the pain with you helps to heal the trauma experienced. Listen to Gabor Mate! So my prayers are for restoration, hope, and healing to be able to celebrate the small things and again celebrate life! Free Palestine!

Hearing a 9 year old girl say "I miss the old days" at 16:39 is truly haunting. Children talking like middle aged adults and it's no wonder when you see the devastation all around. The whole world needs to wake up and end the gen...de now.
