I started slingshot shooting like a year ago and I have had only two fork hits in the begining. Both of them were caused by the speed bumb effect. Now I haven't had fork hits over the past year. Holding the ball correctly and making sure the bands are equally tensioned in the straight line solved this issue for me. I saw your earlier awesome video about these darts. I instantly knew I want bunch of those too. I ordered HTS Hathcock target sniper frame just for dart shooting. It has really wide and high shooting gap, so you have to make pretty big mistake during the release to hit your hand or fork. I'm not confident enough to shoot them with my smaller frames. I made target for them out of packed newspapers and I'm really impressed the penetration capabilities they have.

We use to make our own darts when we where kids an shoot them from a slingshot... this was like 25 years ago
Any body know if the broadhead darts for hunting exist and if they do, where to find them?
U think with a broad head it could take a deer? Or smaller game like a coyote?
We have that weapon but on a single band of rubber 4" nails with Manila rope fibers as shield we use sacks on a t stick.. Great for gang War covert or ambush but to really deal damage a sling shit with either bearing balls or a cube cut from a square iron bar.
Can you put the bands on other slingshots?
Very good video
Nice job Michael bublé
i use a crossbow for my arrows a marvelous invention for shooting ball bearings
You should make a video how to make metal arrow for this shooting
Muito bom, excelente... Mostra o tutorial de confecção dos dardos.
The small ttf would do me fine how much do they cost

Great to see you back Chris, had been looking through the obituaries, lol... Family comes first mate 👍
Apparently, this was filmed three days ago. Chris is still in the field and his kids keep taking him food and water. 😁 I was just thinking... I need that! ..... I'm not experienced. I'll wait a while. I'm just making my second bushcraft slingshot 👍. See my second to last video! My new video is of an Otter in the river just now. Cheers Chris. 🐕

yeah, if you're not an expert shooter... a super expert shooter... I would wait. You could order some and have them for later. And I got the glove from Snipersling. Still scary. hahaha... Get a 5/16" (8mm) dowel and make a practice dart. It won't fly straight, but you get to practice the release.

@@MrPatrick7777 I'm definitely no expert. Still waiting for two catapults off ebay and elastic for what I've made. Was actually talking to my brother today about the darts, and thought of a practice dart. 👍🐕
