Just finished my first ever build. I had zero experience with PCs and was pretty terrified throughout, but everything is working. I've watched most of these videos 4-5 times in the past few days to be sure I didn't miss anything. It's very impressive how you demystify the process while being entertaining. Ridiculously helpful. Thank you!

I'm also new to pc gaming and have parts coming in slowly. I need to know if you can only buy a windows 11 or 10 USB stick (cause I don't have another computer to install windows) and don't need to upload anything on a usb stick to transfer to your pc. Essentially like any drivers?

Huge pro tip is to move your Shadowplay temp folder to an HDD rather than the default C:/ location. This folder is constantly writing recorded footage to the drive and can beat up your nice SSD. HDDs handle frequent writes a little better in terms of drive health, so I always put the temp folder there. Another pro tip is to go to mouse settings and turn off enhance pointer precision (mouse acceleration).

Well..... I agree that SSD's sound more fragile than HDD's, but nowadays they're as durable as any HDD. So you gotta decide between a slightly slower system and replacing a cheaper part, or a blazing fast system and replacing a expensive part. I don't mind, I actually leave it at C. The durability difference isn't that great, the speed I get makes a slight difference and I lose WAY less data if my SSD blow up, since only Windows, and some games where I really need a low loading time gets permanent storage on it.
the most overlooked tip is: before you download ANYTHING, change the time on your PC. that way you avoid files saying "downloaded tomorrow" (yes that's what it actually says)
Just in the process of building my pc, so this will come in very handy. Love your channel and helped me so much.
I just wanted to say you're awesome, man! You are one of the few PC builder's I've been watching and you've made learning the "book" part of this alot of fun. My new computer components are on their way! Let's GOOOO!!

The resize bar tip gave me a huge FPS boost!! Thank you legend!
It’s been 10 years since I’ve built a PC and done a fresh install of Windows so this was an awesome refresher thank you!! Just finished a fresh build last night after quite a bit of troubleshooting and having to do a late night run to buy a used GPU because my old RX 580 does NOT like to do fresh installs without onboard graphics apparently lol
I get my pc tomorrow. This video is literally perfect timing. Thank you.
Thank you! Just built my first PC and was able to get my new Windows 11 install activated on my new build!
I just build an amazing pc for the first time ever two weeks ago. And pc centric was the main reason why I was easily able to build it with confidence.
About to start my 7800x3d and 7900xtx build this week. Glad I found this!

Your videos have helped incredibly with my first ever 4070 build. Thank you for these. Very much appreciated. The best part is you move slow and explain, but at the same time quick. Lol alot of videos just leave out small details which yours had.
i watch a lot pc channels but you are becoming one of my favorite cause you make it fun
Just found this channel! Great content man ... I've always been worried about building a pc! Just got myself a prebuilt but will definitely be building the next one!

Sold my gaming PC when my son was on the way, stupid adult priorities! Living vicariously through you with this one. Pipe dream at the moment haha
Love the videos keep up the good work
This is a fantastic little video that concisely explains the essentials you might need when setting up a PC, I currently have a 2020 ACER Nitro 5 laptop but I’m getting to the point where I might want to start building my very first EVER PC and something like this will be an absolute godsend when I actually have the money (I probably still need the space and convincing my wife it will be worth while) to build it :) P.S. your videos on the $1,000 etc PC are really helping me with ideas for my own build, I have watched plenty of videos on PC builds now and I am confident that I will be able to get it right when I get round to purchasing components/building one :) thank you again Marcus
Could you do a in-depth video of your bios settings and the meaning of them and even test the cpu gaming profile and the max performance profile, thank you so much for this video and the resizeable bar I was looking for that for weeks
Great video mate !
i have my first big gaming pc coming together soon so I hope this video can guide me through :)
This looks awesome, exactly what I want for my next build...quiet, not too much/crazy colors and the glass on your box makes it so that the lighting isnt too bright either!

Hello Centric A good video for beginners getting into building a pc and setting it up. just a thought on the RGB setup to save you time of instaling 2 or more pieces of software to control your RGB why not give Signal RGB a try, i use it and it`s very good also simple to use. See what you think.
Very informative
