You don't need taskbar X for the smaller taskbar, in rounded tb you need to switch on dynamic mode. This will give the same effect.

I love the attention to detail which tech channels like yours have! 4:22 and 4:52 The little icon at the bottom left showing how much longer until you finish talking about this product is very clever, along with the tips! :) Thank you.
Really helpful. So many basic windows settings I didn't know about. Can't wait for part 2.
I love to hear these tips from you. Keep going and we need pt. 2 🙏
Tip for those who like the taskbar. Auto hide it and when you need it, it's there. No need to remove the function

I find that when this is turned on it can annoy me as I sometimes use very quick and sharp mouse movements causing the task bar to go up and down a few times before settling on either staying fully or dissapearing. I just find it a bit janky

When I dont have auto hide on I have a problem where I cant full screen apps without the taskbar always showing, is there a way to fix that?
Great video as always Ed. On the power button section, you can also hibernate your PC and have it wake from the keyboard, that way you save even more power than just putting it to Sleep
The TASKBAR X tip really helped after upgrading to W11 thanks Ed!
On a side note, Shargeek (the brand shown at the start) are making some very cool and unique products. I think if they dropped the price to compete with other brands (even with the discounts they are still hefty) they could create a very great company here
How do you ALWAYS manage to make better videos that 99% of my reccomened
Great video Ed! We know most of these, but this is amazing for ppl who are just starting out or struggling.
Hey, big tip for you - your speakers misplaced. They need to be even with or in front of your side monitors so you don't block their dispersion and eliminate nasty reflections. 😊

Could also mention that having them triangulated really helps too. They should be the same distance apart as they are from where you sit and listen to your music, games, etc...at, and should be off the wall several inches too. Another thing that also really helps but is often ignored outside of music recording is building some bass traps and putting them in the corners of the room you game in. You can really tighten up the acoustic signature of your gaming room very quickly and cheaply this way.
This is my first pc so i'm still learning the ins and outs, so telling me about the refresh rate was game changing lol, thank you.
Hey Ed, found your channel 1 day back have watched almost your 10-20 videos including your house full tour. Loved it
Wow Ed new videos r amazing and keep getting better. Especially how to improve setups and buying products that r cheap.
Thanks man. The fan curve app doesn't play nice with my fans so I didn't use it but left a like just bc you're the first person to tell me about the ultimate power setting. My PC has been on balanced the 9 months I've had it haha.
This is a great video tips and tricks to have a clean setup and have everything organized. Unfortunately i don't own pc, and my console just said good bye to me today 😢 Great video Edgar!
The refresh rate thing helped a lot! I changed gfx card a bit ago and forgot to do it so thankyou for the reminder
Thanks for the video! I see quite a few things that I can use and need to check and/or make changes to.
Didn’t think I’d screw around with my taskbar since I’m very particular with how I like it, but anything that makes it look more like macOS is awesome
We need more like this Ed! Had to drop a like for this one 👍🔥🙏

omg we need more vids like this... tysm for informing me about the game launcher i love it
I usually optimise my windows after I install a fresh one, but my last reset was so long ago that I forgot when i upgraded from 10 to 11 to change the boot programs from msconfig. Thanks, Ed
my setup is a laptop with a mouse. 💯💯🗣🗣😎😎
2 years ago i didnt know anything about pc or components but now i know little more abot them. Thanks to you i think i know how to build my own pc but i think il never try cuz im gaming on laptop😂.Thank you TechSource for everything!.
New background looking sick Ed 🔥
Great tips, especially for when first setting up your pc. However I suggest using a different game launcher. Razer cortex consolidates all the games to the one app but has some extra features including game boosting, which pauses/stop certain processes while gaming.

can you share your table size dimensions?@@TechSource Thanks
I think you could mention the re-sizable bar in the bios in your next video. It allows your gpu to have a better performance and it is not activated by default. However it only availble to enable on more recent gpus like the 30 series and up. There is a similar function for the amd gpus but i dont know the name.
@Zaelrae
8 ай бұрын
It's called the exact same thing. The BIOS doesn't change. Resizable Bar and 4G encoding are two I always ensure are on so my AMD card can use S.A.M and have increased performance.
This was honestly an awesome video, dude!
Thank you for making me notice that, after a couple years since I bought my monitor, the refresh rate was still set really low. It's feeling a lot smoother now, thx
Bonus Tip: In the Graphics Settings, you can modify the GPU / CPU Performance for your applications and games, to get an even higher FPS Boost
I finally picked up a mousepad! The designs are so good and the price is so cheap. Well done, Ed. EDIT: Forgot to mention the fact that it's free shipping in the U.S. AND you can return them for any reason within 30 days! Such a good buy.

thx so much i will keep this in mind when i get my first pc👍
Sometimes for lower-end monitor setting the refresh rate to max can make games choppy, instead in my experience stick to the second highest or what the manufacturer recommends (144Hz for his case)
The fact he just said that with a straight face is hilarious. (you know what I'm talking about)
Wow these were all actually really cool helpful tips! 😊
this is gonna help so much dude, thanks!!!!!
