How I Reversed My Myopia + Q&A (Live Stream)

Ғылым және технология

First time we ever tried a live stream and Q&A. It's quite raw, obvious newbie effort, and not edited for brevity. Some say skip the first 45 minutes if you don't want the backstory of how I ended up without myopia.

Whether you were doing it for yourself, the money, or to benefit others…it is a wonderful resource. Thank you for taking the time…and “complainers” can always find something to dislike 😁 and looking with those eyes they miss the treasure you are offering…too bad for them 🦋

@@E_Legend good job 😄 I've got -3.25 (used to have -3.5/-3.75) and intend to get 20/20 someday too. Hopefully exercises actually work, I did have success with active focus tho, even prior I've learned its a thing. Good luck and I hope this really works xD (as a biology student, the lack of quality studues makes me sceptic, but if it actually works I'll make sure to inform more people and maybe someday contribute on a scientific level)

This is due to severe and scary complications I have been blindsided with (pun intended 🙂), as a result of my Myopia (which Lasik has helped disguise). For a couple of years now, I've been practicing different things, like Bates Method, meditation, yoga, nutrition, and looking into the distance. I've been unsuccessful in my vision journey, though I did learn how to relax my eyes & mind. The biggest hurdle has always been screen addiction. I grew up watching screens; screens are a big part of my life. Though sometimes I have gone for days & weeks without screens, I always fall back into looking at screens for way too long. The only thing I can do is try again, use a different strategy, and try harder. But I failed so many times; the spirit gets fatigued. Maybe one day I'll just throw away all my screens and work in a field somewhere.

I tried it all too. Doesn’t work because it doesn’t address causality. Now at 20/20, still using screens some, all is well. 😊

I think I read the same Bates book back in the 90's / 00's and I was thinking of using reduced lenses along with Bates. I was so mad that you could walk into a drugstore and buy plus lenses on the cheap but minus lenses were not only overpriced but you needed an optometrist to prescribe them for you. I couldn't just go without glasses except for short periods of time so that didn't work and I essentially just gave up. I stumbled on some KZread video about a month ago of a mom who was using Bates or something and then later reduced lenses. The reduced lenses definitely got my attention. She linked Zenni and I was like YES! If only this were around back in the day (or maybe it was and I didn't know about it). If it weren't for Zenni (or other simlar sites) I don't think anyone with uncorrected vision of say 20/200 or worse eyesight could possibly do Endmopia. The rest of us NEED corrected vision of some kind to be functional.

True about plus vs. minus lenses. It's all a big profit grab. Plus never too late to have a diopter reducing adventure. :)
