I am also doing the $10,000 goal. I broke mines down by 52 weeks (a year), which equals $192.31 a week. Thought it was easier to pay bills, take care of family and still save. I break my goals all by 52 weeks. Good luck everyone!

This is exactly what I'm doing! January 1st 2022 I decided to spend the bare minimum and put everything else into savings. I dropped out of highschool, moved out onto my own in my own place, and I work full time at Wendy's, it's like a McDonald's. I make $2000 a month working my ass off and have managed to save $1400 a month while paying rent and buy essentials and food. The key is find a place for rent with multiple bedrooms. Even if it's $1800 a month, you can rent out those spare rooms to friends, family or co-workers for $500 a month and have your rent pretty much paid for. I live in Ontario, Canada. I'm only 18 and my plan is to save $20,000 in 12 months, and then go travel Southeast Asia for a few months. I just want to show everyone that no matter what you have, if you try and work hard at what you want, you can get it. I'm a teenager highschool dropout working the stereotypical McDonald's job but can still achieve my passion to travel the world. Good luck to you with your goals!
