How I Make My Signature Soap! || Georgian Bay

How I Make My Signature Soap! || Georgian Bay
Hello Friends! Today I show you how I create my beautiful, signature soap: Georgian Bay soap! This is the soap that is my hands down best seller that I mention all the time. I can barely keep up with the demand of this ocean-themed soap and I definitely think it has to do with its name. This soap smells like being by the lake at the cottage on a summer day. I show my entire method and process, from how I mix the oils with the lye solution, to adding colors and then pouring into the mold! I also show how I sculpt the gorgeous textured tops! I really hope you find this kind of video very helpful!
#coldprocesssoap #howtomakesoap #soapbusiness
Recipe (makes 6 lbs of soap):
- 1013 g olive oil (45%)
- 495 g coconut oil (22%)
- 450 g shea butter (20%)
- 113 g castor oil (5%)
- 180 g hemp seed oil (8%)
- 453 g distilled water
- 302 g sodium hydroxide
- colorants: azure blue mica, indigo powder, cocoa powder, paprika, titanium dioxide

  • @JerikaZimmerman

    @JerikaZimmerman

    Most CP soap you're able to remove once the soap has hardened. There is some CP soap you can even cut within hours since it gets hard very quickly (100% coconut oil soap, salt bars, etc.) After cutting it, you'll need to cure it in a dark, dry place for at least 4 weeks.

    So beautiful❤️❤️❤️. Love from India...Have you ever tried using sesame oil in your soaps?? Just asked because you're using a different oil(hemp oil) which other soap makers don't usually use. I'm so eager to try your recipe but hemp oil is too costly in India and thought of replacing that with sesame oil. Any idea about sesame in soaps???

    Curious about wax paper vs silicone?

    Silicone is a lot trickier to get soap out of it, I hear. The paper is just SO much easier.
