    Tiggy, I'm from New York and love watching your soap- making videos. I'm in the process of starting my own homebased soap business. Well, it's been a long process. Started with the idea about 4 years ago, even trademarked the company name. However, now is the time to get focused on it. Thank you for being so candid and honest about your business. Makes me feel like anyone can obtain a dream of starting their own business. Getting all my ducks in a row and hopefully start making soaps in the next couple of weeks! Stay well and healthy! Keep up the great videos. You give me inspiration to purse this path.

    What is the point that you made about HAL things can look kind of messy and crazy but that in the end they all come together and it makes the beautiful soap that you made and I think that’s a good thing to remember when you’re making something or anything for that matter that you shouldn’t count yourself out before you finish the entire thing through and I tend to do that to myself also thank you for the reminder to keep pushing and see things through before you admit defeat. I love the pink on the top of the soap and the way that looks mixed with the lighter colors and bang on with that shimmer of the mica it’s absolutely beautiful

  • @Sooz3112
    @Sooz3112 Жыл бұрын

    Oh, it looks lovely - it reminds me of rose and pistachio colours 😍. You're very sensible with your business, not expanding with employees. I don't think I'd want to have staff either, because then there's more expense with salary and pensions etc. I've seen lot of business owners expand too quickly and then it backfires. I would love to make soap and lip gloss but the UK portal seems a little daunting. Can I ask please, would I have to upload the product details onto the portal with every single batch? I'm guessing so, but I thought I'd ask 😍. The assessments, I'll go with Scott. Whenever I doubt myself, I just watch one of your videos and it liffs my spirits again - thank you x

    I have a Nikon D5300, and use either a 18 to 55 mm lens or a 50 mm lens. The 18 to 55 mm lens gives me a wider view, and the 50mm gives more of a close up with the blurred out background. The camera also has a flip screen so I can see if I'm in frame when filming. I also use a rode microphone that just plugs into the mic jack on the camera and sits inside the shoe on the top of the camera. All set up on a tripod. Hope that helps.

    can i ask, do these soaps actually clean your hands properly or is it just for show? i mean no offense its a genuine question. how do they compare to regular soap?

  • @futureprimitivesoap

    @futureprimitivesoap

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi, well, not only do they clean your hands perfectly they don't leave them dry like shop bought soap. In fact most soaps in the supermarket are made using detergents or if they are made with oils the naturally occurring glycerine gets extracted to be sold as a by-product. These are traditionally made from scratch using oils and exotic butters and lye solution. The natural glycerine is left inside the soap leaving the bars with better properties for the skin. So they look good, smell good and feel good too. Hope that helps.
