This was gonna be my plan way before I started learning french, I learned english this way too through listening hip hop and rap, it even influenced the way I speak, I sound different than my peers

Hello! I know it could sound weird, but my favourite way to learn French is by listening to music as you do, but the music that I listen to is from Soy Luna. One year ago I discovered a song from Soy Luna on youtube with a song which it was from Disney Channel French, and on the video were the subtitles in French (the music is in Spanish and I'm Romanian) and I was keeping translating each word until I memorized them and this is how I discovered a lot of grammar. The most of the songs are about love or of encouragement, and some of them have some expressions. Later, I saw that it had the same thing with Violetta, and I started listening to it too, and now I've the level B1 almost B2 at French. Thanks to you I get beter and better with your explanations. I love this so much. I'm just a beginner but I love French rap music. I listen to Romeo Elvis, Oboy, 313, izaid, mojisboy etc. Thank you so much for the recommendations.

There are a couple videos on KZread of them performing the song live. You can see how emotional Bigflo gets when singing it. Such an awesome song.

Listen to the songs you like with the lyrics from time to time and look up words you feel are important or you’re curious about. You will slowly but surely pick up a ton of French 👍
