Y and EN
Y and EN can be a nightmare for learners of French. It's sometimes hard to tell exactly what these two pronouns are replacing, on top of knowing where to place them in your sentences. This video will go over why they're used, how to use them and a simple rule to keep in mind that will help you make sense of these one and two letter words.

10:46 - EN can replace "de + place" for verbs like sortir de, venir de, rentrer de
11:23 - EN is used with expressions of quantity such as beaucoup (it replaces "de + noun" in beaucoup de + noun)

À is like at, sur is on, en is in, de is like of.
