Hey Danny I really want to start a salt water aquarium, have you got any suggestions for someone that wants to start and what size tank should a beginner get?

Using salifert kits it only takes me 20 mins max to test all my parameters?

Who knows.. I really enjoyed making them, but copyright is insane on those videos. The channel has to make money to cover the time and money I invest into it or else it’s not possible to keep this going. I am definitely looking into it, don’t worry. 😉

I manually add RO water to the tank, an ATO would automate this.

I was looking for something like this for a few years, but say "low tech" with a autonomous factory bot that makes your test its really no low tech

Nice apparatus probably, but way too expensive for most hobbyists. You didn't mention the price (3500 euros) nor did you wait for a couple of months to test the product yourself before getting it out to the public. I think it's too bad that you with your quality vlogs are prone to succumb to this kind of -indirect- selling. You mentioned it takes you one hour to test 5-6 parameters of your tankwater. I do this in much less time (35 minutes I guess). This makes the step to go and buy yourself a 3500 euro apparatus instead of testing yourself supposedly a bit more far stretched. Please, give your audience more added value and do an unbiased quality review based on your own experience after some decent time. This video is below your par.

I appreciate your feedback, but we really need to get some facts straight. First and foremost, yes this is a sponsored video. It’s quite obvious and disclosed. These sponsorships allow me to keep making content. And don’t worry, I will only sign a sponsor deal if I genuinely think it’s a good product. After all, I’ll be using it on my own aquarium. I get requests to promote brands every week. But you can count the times I signed on one hand. Before signing on a deal, I do my own research and talk to people that already use the product. If I’m still convinced after that, I’ll go for it. Maintaining my aquariums and creating this content requires a lot of time and money, every year I spend upwards of € 20K on this channel. Early in June I installed this device on my aquarium, I posted a video about it later that month. Focusing on the installation. Now, 4 months after installing it, I’m sharing it again to talk about how I’m using it and why I want to use it. It takes me an hour to test one of my aquariums. I am very busy, this device is worth the time I save for me personally. The ReefBot Lab is NOT 3500 euros, you are confusing this device with the ReefBot Pro. It is currently priced at $1099 on their website.

Hi Danny, Thanks you for your reaction. I apologize because I must have missed your first video on the Reefbot. I would have appreciated some more info regarding your hands-on experience with this device, differences between your device and the other two types of Reefbot and some more info on the company. FYI: I have visited their website and have read all there is to read on the device.

The device is for around 1,000 Euros, I think you have had it mistaken with the ReefBot lab. I have one and it works great
