In most areas in the u.s. there's a stereotype that dads are religous about thermostat temperatures (namely due to how much electric bills can cost just by a raise by a single degree in most areas) the joke being that the dad would overe exaggerate the importance of not touching the thermostat.

Wow coming back to these space videos years later feels so good. Vsauce truly inspired a generation. And i feel myself getting back to my childhood curiosity of the world and universe around me. I think we all should stay curious. Keeps you grounded.

I would imagine that if energy cannot be added anymore, it would just be repelled, maybe even in a violent matter. But with intense heat, energy is always being released so I'm sure there would be a constant channelling that would occur, since the first law of thermodynamics states that all the energy in the universe remains constant. What if the gamma-ray bursts that we see are the channelling from too much energy being added inside a black hole? Hmm if so there's our answer.
