I’d say I’m above average strength wise but still nowhere near others. And can also vouch for hysterical strength. Outside of comp prep I struggled with 140kg deadlift, yet on the day I pulled 160kg. I struggled getting a 60kg atlas stone off the floor in prep, but on comp day managed 8 reps of it over the yoke. Now I’m moving 90kg over the yoke.

I think you got the types of muscle fibers switched. Type 1 muscles are slow twitch muscles, and Type 2 muscles are fast twitch muscles, but the details behind fast and slow twitch is correct (fast twitch being explosive, and slow twitch being like marathons). Sorry, I couldn't help myself but double-check since this was just my topic last week in medical school. Great video nonetheless! :>

its the humans body natural reaction in survival situation weather its another human in life or death situation or urself because, we actually dont use our full capabilities in safe situations. side effect of the life or death situation reaction is damage to the body itself for using 100% of its power

I'm probably below average in strength by a lot, as I've only done deadlifts a couple times and I'm only 135 pounds, 5'10, and 15. I can around deadlift 225 pounds, so I'd say since the average adult male is 190+ pounds, they can probably, on average, deadlift 300 pounds. I'm guessing the statistic was a survey, or they counted children, or maybe the test subjects were scared of injury, or they weren't told how to deadlift.
