The terrors of the lawn look as though they are swimming as they tunnel, but they put a lot of force behind their shovel-like paws.

I caught one of these guys - a little one - when I was out fishing, and saw something black with silky fur in the grass, one of the cutest animals ever, period.

They are really adorable little, black fuzzy blind tubes... That mess with my lawn. But I still love them.
I love KZread late at night. I go from space videos, to gold prospecting videos to watching how moles dig.

For all metric lovers out there, a mole has a mass of about 88 grams. Multiply it by 10 to get its weight and the result is 0,88N. Now multiply it by 40 to get its strenght and the result is about 35N.

You could also use live traps or do your best to capture them alive and relocate to a forest of some sort. But if they're proving too elusive to catch then by all means, protect your garden.

It felt like the video needed to be much longer... Such an interesting topic MOREEEEEE!!
These things are so cute!
I was looking for "Moles", for Chemistry... but it lead me here and this is more interesting. LOL!
That "hummm so good" just killed me haha
I am really concerned if the scientist got a written permission from the mole allowing them to x-ray it for extended period of time.

This is about how exciting nature gets in the Netherlands.
I love watching a video about how hard moles dig and then not finding out how hard moles dig!
"Mmmm, soo good" 🤣🤣😂😂
Just goes to show you, even moles don't like couscous. They chose the worm over that stuff. 😅

I love these. I recently moved to a different state. I have these rolling and tilling my yard. They are finding me volcanic rock's, rocks from 2,O00,000 years ago, (When this area was nothing but active Volcanic activity, and 1,000,000 million years ago when this area was lake. I found one which had some sort of fossilised fish or scorpion tail not sure. I do not know if I'm getting lucky, or the earths magnetic field is bringing them up. Either way my husband and I decided, (Let the Mole Rats dig and dig ).

We'll I'm on a large Alphalpha farm so I do not need the grass like when I lived in a city. We are using the worms for fishing, my husband went to buy some worms, over 3 Buck's per pack. The man told him if we had alot and we do that he will buy them. Found another old weat penny again and some more old silverware from who knows when. Over here these things are making money for me. Lol

I hope you can see these. I spoke to a geologist, and he's the one who gave me this information. I hope someone can provide more. He wants them, and I'm not giving them away.

Sorry. They're not showing up (Google is coming up with a 400 error), at least for me, anyway, and they're not actually coming up in the comment chain. If you uploaded the image elsewhere and sent us a link to the image (eg. uploading them to Puush), it might be possible to see them, but maybe the geologist will know more when he sees them. It's a shame. I like looking at fossils, but my OCD won't let me touch them. ^_^'

I used to feed a stray cat. One day it put one of these on my doorstep (still somewhat alive and not bleeding). I had no idea what it was. I'd never seen one before.
i guess we can say they go hard
Holy moly!!!
If they ever did an anthropomorphic adaptation of a Zatoichi movie, that would be the mole since they have bad eyesights, but good sense of smell. Though sadly the character was already made into a bush pig (Usagi Yojimbo comics)
I had a mole infestation in my bedroom once..
Wow, that's cool
MMMM.... SO GOOD!
you had me at earth worms yummm

I love moles! They are adorable!!!!!!!!!1!!!
Does the dirt or mud, stick to the moles fur. They always seem to look very clean, for a animal that spends its life digging through dirt. I know this one is in a laboratory....but even when you see people catching them in the wild. They still look clean.

Every part of their anatomy evolved for life underground. Including their extremely fine fur which dirt falls off of easily.

Moles got such cute patty feets. I love em. I once caught a vole with my hands. He was a pain to get, but I got em while I was gardening. Thank Jesus I had gloves cuz it tried to bite me. They got really strong jaws for being such a little boober.
Intresting
