How Habits of Honesty and Transparency Can Transform Your Life | Jennah Dohms | TEDxWhiteRock

What if there was a habit that could help people break out of unhealthy patterns and into their dreams and goals? Jennah Dohms shares the need for true transparency and accountability with others. She experiences the benefit of this by using an accountability trio which regularly goes through a list of ten life questions together. She emphasizes that hard truths can come from a place of love and not judgement. To learn more about the list of questions visit jennahdohms.com.
Jennah Dohms is a motivated young woman who loves problem solving, empowering others and being a life-long learner. Some learning experiences include working on Parliament Hill, teaching English in the Middle East and China, directing events for different industries and working with Executive leadership teams. She is inspired to use her variety of international and professional experience to contribute to human development and dignity. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Honesty. Such a simple policy that if we follow it truly, we can be happy and guilt free. Despite knowing that, sometimes we unfortunately fail to do even that

I love the fact that being honest is a good attitude. But sometimes you don't need honesty. You may have a bad attitude that you are aware of it. You just have to work on it and start to leave it. Honesty is good but we don't have to mistakenly consider being haughty with being honest. And after that we need to be honest with ourselves. Because if we don't we cannot be honest to anyone.

i see.. like it says in the bible: where two or more gather, there I am. so they dont even need to be trusted friends. others reflect us to ourselves in our interactions. if you are paying attention then you can reflect on this. it seems to speak on the dangers of self isolation, physical or otherwise. in this case, self expression.

What about govt transparency? NIH did a grant study on dental white fillings. Guess what study was referring to? Increasing estrogen in body from these white fillings. Shouldn't MALES have a choice before these dental white fillings are used? This study determined whether placement of composite (white) dental restorations (fillings) & increasing the concentrations of bisphenol A (BPA) had estrogenic-like properties that raised concerns about safety abiut . amounts of the chemicals leached out of dental sealants and detected in saliva soon after the sealants were applied. Dental composites also contained some of these compounds? Why wasn't the public made aware of this and shouldn't it had been transparent?

So what is a person to do? Mercury fillings are worse. Also I'd like to see the science that says such levels are detrimental to health. How much worse is concentration of BPA in a composite filling than a plastic water bottle? How much worse is the BPA in comparison to over types of xenoestrogens that are in the environment? Just saying.
