@@SY-mc6td everything else? Defense? Hell nah all defensive selections says otherwise. If u gonna bring up garnett's dpoy then let's talk abt how duncan was robbed of dpoy in 07. He was first in defensive winshare, defensive plus minus and also defensive rating. Marcus Camby didn't even finish in top 3 that year. Rebounding? Hell nah. Even tho duncan had robinson in team he still got 12 rpg per game in his rookie year the only reason why he didn't get a rebound title is because he was unselfish and also let his teammates rebound. Garnett on the other hand was on a one man team so he had to get those rebounds. Playmaking goes to garnett but it's arguable cause alot of tim's contributions to their offense is oftenly not seen in stats. He makes the right decision most of the time. Shooting goes to garnett. Duncan did more in less games and seasons so how is garnett better in everything else?

Being from MN I love KG and watching him play. I was happy for him when he was traded to Boston because he was going to get his chance at a championship. But the thing that impresses me most is that he got HUGE money at such a young age and didn't f--k his life up. That shows character. At 21 years old he got 100 some odd million dollars and managed to keep his focus on why he was getting that money. I don't know if I would have been able to do the same. He more then pulled his weight when he was pissed at Taylor and McKale again shows character. Love the Kid!

If you are enough of a student of the league, there are a lot of full games uploaded to youtube and you can find many full games for most all-time greats. They also play plenty of old games on ESPN classic. There are also plenty of highlights to find of most great players including full game highlights and certain videos that show full game highlights throughout a season. Youngins can also study the stats and context of the career/era for the player in question.

I hope KG gets his due credit in the future. So many people hate on him partly bc of his personality, joining the Celtics to win a ring, and his childish conflict w/ Ray Allen but KG in the early to mid-2000s was a Top 3-5 Player in the league (alongside the likes of Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, Iverson, and T-Mac) and was perhaps the best two-way player in the NBA along w/ Duncan and Kobe. Had it not been for poor management and an unfortunate injury to Sam Cassell in 2004, there's a chance that KG could have won a ring in Minnesota.

@Dichang Feng well he'd probably adapt his game nowadays. Laimbeer only played that way because it was advantageous for him at the time.

Kevin Garnett is definitely one of the greatest power forwards of all time. He is known for his intensity, defensive ability, and versatility. He played 21 seasons in the NBA, so he retired as a Celtics instead of the Timberwolves. I still wonder why the Timberwolves didn’t retired his number yet, so I’m pissed about it. At least, he went straight to the NBA after coming out of high school.🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀

Most skilled PF of all time in my eyes, he was a pioneer of the modern bigs, had the complete package, all around player. He played with such ferocious intensity and passion, unselfish and always put winning about everything else on the court. Inspiring as well, without him, most of the players coming out of high school after him wouldn't have done it. 🐐🐐

I've always said that last statement. It's all situational. Duncan gets drafted by the hawks, no titles no and nobody thinks he's a top 10 player. Garnett gets drafted by the lakers or spurs, and he's a top ten player.
