    He'd be deadly in 2020 nba. A big who has range, handles and pass like a perimeter. He's almost a wing player. Surprise he didn't get in 04 usa olympic since many superstars opted out he'd be perfect. His leadership and locker room motivation is good. Him and duncan would be perfect sportsmanship model

    Great player. Hard worker, versatile, good leader, great character. And could have played in any era. If Cleveland would have got him 2 years earlier..

    Not really a pioneer as there were a decent amount of stretch 4s before him. But he was definitely one of the s for it

    He was really good. Got overshadowed because he was the better college player but then his college teammate Vince Carter ended up being the more dynamic pro. Jamison wasn’t flashy but he was a great player who put up great numbers and had good longevity.

    He had a distinct style. Very quick deceptive releases around the rim. Accurate. Lots of finesse and sneaky quickness. His 51 point game Warriors Vs. Shaq/Kobe Lakers overtime win is his career highlight game IMO

    I have him on my all-time list of unique players. He was also very good at finding cutting lanes, making awkward looking shots against bigger or more athletic bigs, and he was a good offensive rebounder.

    Watching him play as a kid was always a treat no lie. Back-to-back 50 point games, one of the first stretch 4’s, man Brody was a beats

    I live near Antawn Jamison. I actually ran into him at Bojangles once. Extremely humble and nice guy. Got into basketball at the tail end of his career, never realized how dominant he was in college. Definitely forgotten because his stats don’t lie.

    Great video. He's definitely in the Hall of Very Good. I was thinking of other people you could look at during this era; I know he's still playing but Paul Millsap, Damon Stoudamire, Tashaun Prince, LaMarcus Aldridge (again, still playing), Elton Brand.

    Antawn was my favorite player on that Wizards team with Arenas and Butler. Though he wasn’t good defensively, his offensive game was unique. I always tried to replicate those unorthodox flip shots/tear drops.

    LeBron did him dirty when AJ was willing to stay in Cleveland for 4 to 5 years if I remember correctly only because he wanted to play with LeBron. Anyway he is am underrated player fa real.

    First time I saw Jamison, it was a local news segment before the start of his senior year of highschool. He was doing windmill dunks on a 12 foot goal just to show off his vertical.

    He was one of those guys like an Eddie Jones, or Derozan who is an all star, but a low level all star. He was a VERY good player, but not a difference maker that you can build your team around. He would have made a great Robin to a Batman ala Pau Gasol.

    Disrespect to Derozan tbh. He at least made made the ECF as the #1 option and is a 6x allstar/3x All-NBA. Jamison as the #1 guy on the Warriors wasn’t sniffing the playoffs. He was better suited as the 2nd or 3rd option on the Wizards

    I'm 45, so I of course remember him, no problem...I wss never really a UNC fan, but I always liked Jamison....and, because of my anti-UNC bias (lol), it took me years, IN THE NBA, to believe that Carter was better than Jamison... even when it wss obvious, I wss like "nah, its coming. Jamison gonna put it alllll together, STILL, watch..." Then Carter went to (then) my Nets, and I think I forgot who this "Antoine Jammersons" was

    He should've been a Small Forward. I don't think I saw any clips of him on the block. He would cut or spread from the wing, and he's not big or bulky, sounds like a small forward forced to play the 4 because of undersized high school and college teams (pretty obvious), and the Warriors who were undersized.
