I've made butter at home. It's not hard. I have a churn but all you need is a jar. The hardest bit is washing the milk out of the butter after you are done churning it. If you have butter paddles it's not hard. You have to wash it out or the butter goes rancid fast. It's delicious (unless it goes rancid).
