Or spawn a radscorpion in your path that wound up being 20 levels above you... that particular run I wound up dying by deathclaw family as that was a bit faster than the radscorpion...

The people putting the disks in the wrong box aren’t the gamers themselves, it’s the parents or siblings. I remember searching for my Sonic and the Black Knight disk for half an hour on several occasions because my parents put it in the wrong places

5:41 this is actually a thing in Fallout New Vegas. Plenty of people do Max Luck runs where they'll clear out the Vegas Strip and empty out all the casinos. This is funny because each establishment actually has a finite amount of money and so they will actually kick you out for winning too much at their rigged casino games. Just like real Vegas really 😂

1:05 the ironic part about this is that Dragon Quest, the most popular game franchise in Japan specifically, is directly inspired by D&D. The creators loved the game and wanted to make the concept more pallatable to their region of the world. You can really feel that in early titles, but the series has drifted so far away in the past 38 years that we are back at square 1.

@@justnoob8141 1: If people enjoyed grinding, why is Milestone progression so popular now? 2: If people enjoyed the hunt for loot, why is Artificer so popular? 3: If DM's enjoyed the act of creating endless amounts of side quests, and players enjoyed crawling through endless dungeons, why are One-Shots and short form games so popular? 4: If people enjoyed grinding for exp and loot, why are there so many systems that are more story based compared to adventure based? I'm not saying people CAN'T enjoy these things, I enjoy doing that from time to time. However, to say DnD is all about these things is categorically false. If that were true, we wouldn't have such great locations like Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, and Neverwinter. Yes, there are memorable items within these stories, but in general you can remove the items and the stories within would hold firm.

There's a scene in one of the RPGs where she's dealing with a real crisis, and Bowser charges in oblivious to what's going on and tries to kidnap her. Peach's response is to casually bitch slap Bowser clear back to his castle on the opposite side of the continent they're on. She's definitely letting him take her whenever he kidnaps her because its just a vacation to her.

Reminder that Peach's gun of choice is a double-barreled shotgun. She barely reacts to its recoil.

Very memerable boss for me, with how often I beat that game. So I ended up looking up the boss when I was younger, and found out that Algernon's name was chosen as a reference to that story.

Eventually it all just fades away and there isn't a thing he can do about it. So it's having something great and it going away with nothing you can do about it.

One of the things that I like about the monster hunter games from the past couple of years is that their improving on the mount riding mechanics. In Monster Hunter World Iceborne they gave us the ability to mount and ride small monsters, then in Monster Hunter Rise they gave us a big dog that we could ride on which was much better than the small monsters from the previous game, and now for Monster Hunter Wilds they're giving us this lizard chocobo thing to ride on. I can't wait to explore this big new world that Capcom is making.

My Shadowheart has never been able to jump bigger gaps because i always reroll her to a spellcasting cleric so that she Doesn't suck.

About the Pokémon pervy old man, if they really wanted to "correct" that part the way to go should be making him disapear after beating the gym, then finding him later at a police station (or anything of the sort) with a dialogue along the line of "I have no regret !".

Luck in new Vegas is incredibly broken. Always make it a case to empty out the casinos . 🎩 🐍 no step on snek!🇺🇸🇭🇰

2:11 To add some context. It isn't the score that is impressive, but the fact that the game crashed. Until that point everyone playing it finished at being unable to proceed further would it be for speed or weird bugged level colors. Effectively, they lost. This dude played so well that the game itself broke and couldn't work anymore.

And yes, this game have some optimizations in the code which cause issues since it was never supposed to be played past level 30 or something. I don't recall exact level, but it reaches specific speed which nobody could play at for a while and devs thought nobody will ever could since you can't press buttons on controller fast enough with a normal grip. However, if you manage to get past that obstacle speed won't change any further, but eventually color palettes which supposed to switch around on a loop start to glitch and display bizzare colors and if you go far enough the game reach levels at which it may crash if you do somehting specific like: clear eactly 1 line to switch to the next level.

I mean when you remember Sora’s design is based on Mickey, a cartoon character having been shown to do crazy cartoon physics, giving Sora a cartoon-y run kinda makes sense.

Lost Pause, Peach is a kami. You found out in that one Mario game, which I think is just Super Peach, that she is the deity of the Mushroom Kingdom controlling the weather with her emotions and generally letting Bowser have his fun with her and Mario

the Mario and Luigi games where my childhood, I agree with the bowsers inside story opinion as well. I wish they would make a new game but that is a little far considering they are remaking every RPG they have ever made under the sun but that series. it is sad.

About Princess Peach being super stronk, if you look up her stats on the VS Battles Wiki site, you realize that Peach is certainly stronger than 2B, such that even if 2B's core programming didn't make her stop the moment Peach, a human, said no, well, Peach could still easily wrestle 2B to a stop and keep her there. Fun Fact: Peach doesn't need to breathe, and thus can also stay underwater indefinitely. I did not know that. Ignoring her powerful White Mage powers (which includes telepathy, telekinesis and the general manipulation of various kinds of energy magic and mundane), she can levitate for a short time innately, has overall superhuman physical stats by default, is somewhat elastic such that blunt impacts probably won't hurt her and thus logically cannot easily be KO'd by a headshot, she can drag out her own emotions into powers that let her fly, release an aura of fire and make plants grow rapidly, her reflexes are fast enough to dodge lightning, and lastly her superhuman characteristics put her strength high enough that with a proper wind up she can hit something with sufficient force to send a one ton object flying at least a kilometer presuming the optimum launch angle for distance.
