Uhh fun fact! In squeak squad, burning is actually there within fire's moveset. Just input a run then press the attack button.

I should have been more clear but the fire dash (basically Kirby’s Dash Attack in Smash) isn’t the part of burning I needed for optimized movement. Kirby being an airborne fireball (allowing me to avoid obstacles and platforming) is what I was looking for!

@@Jace-TV So I could be wrong, but can't you just run, and jump, and it will activate the fireball airborne? Like I know FOR SURE, that you can do that in the modern Kirby games, and in fact you can even spam the airborne fireball in the air, but I am not sure if you can do that in Squeak Squad too.

1:54 though it does have copy abilities like kirby's adventure, unlike kirby's adventure which had 24, this one only has 7 but makes up for it by allowing you to combine them with the animal friends.

Yeah the dash is just not the part of burning I was looking for. Airborne burning is what gets to skip platforming while being mostly safe in the air. Not sure if grabbing fire would actually have saved time.

actually, kirby and the amazing mirror is not the next game after kirby 64.
