You can actually save a jump in Kirby 64 because if you inhale the Bronto burt enemies and press X while grounded you get height in the first level combined with pausing and restarting the level after getting bomb you can combine it with the starting fire ability to get fireworks earlier only jumping twice

@@aureliamastergoomba1278 They both propel you into the air while using the jump button. Friend circle’s description literally has “Jump” and “Jump high” as its controls. There is no world where that argument holds any weight. Also that literally wasn’t the reason they were given a separate counter. It was because it was a useful distinction since normal gameplay and Friend Circle gameplay are very different from one another.

@@PrincePoison Somebody did already a time ago, Friend Circles force you to jump several times. i should check out for that video, it's been a while, but i remember Friend Circles being a nightmare for this challenge. Ps. okay i checked out. 2 regular Jumps, and 35 Friend Circle jumps. Making a total of 37 jumps.

You actually can skip getting the sword in the Meta Knight fight in Nightmare in Dreamland. If you wait around 10 minutes he will start the fight without you grabbing the sword. I found this out as a kid randomly when I was watching a show with my gameboy on.

Great video Sample, always neat to see Kirby get challenge run attention! My input is that I believe it is possible to shave off two jumps on the first stage of 64. A little-known mechanic in the game is that you can inhale an enemy and then press a button to lift them above Kirby's head. Many enemies have a unique effect when this occurs, and for Bronto Burt, it's a extremely high and floaty boost into the air, legally not a jump. You can then swallow it and pull it back out again to repeat. You can make one jump over the first ledge in the stage, then inhale the first Burt to fly over everything until the first mid-boss. The second half of the level requires another jump before you can just barely inhale a Burt to make more progress. Get Bomb right before the end of the stage, quit out, throw it at the first Fire enemy to get Fireworks, and do the rest of the stage jumpless. That lowers the stage's jump count down to 2, and it's possibly applicable elsewhere but I wouldn't know without playing through the entire game. Thanks for reading!

Absolutely massive. I knew you could swim fast w the fish enemies but I had no clue abt the flying boys. Unfortunately I dont think this helps w the rest of the game but 2 jumps is 2 jumps

Plus he skipped over the new games because ceemecraft already did them and recommended watching his videos in the pinned comment. I assume by future legacy you mean he made the other Kirby game challenges before ceemecraft did, but not only is that not how KZread or even ideas work, but it's also not even as if ceemecraft is "the no jump Kirby guy". He makes tons of other challenges and Kirby no jump is just one of them.

I feel like your channel came out of nowhere but your videos started out consistently good and just keep getting better, congrats!

The reason why this works is because when you die, your spirit will enter the latest game you played and mess with it a bit. This is completely RNG based and you may need to do this a few times"

Something that amazed me the first time I saw your videos back when Super Star Ultra Jumpless came out is how much charisma you have. Sometimes I get too tempted or accidentally see a comment, but that's my fault. I don't really agree that the comments are made for after the video is done either. I would absolutely agree if you said something like "there is too many people saying completely irrelevant things" or "too many people spamming/asking for likes/subs" which I do not want to see in anyone's comment section, and it's obnoxious. And you don't really have the right to say "it'll ruin their enjoyment if they comment before the video". I highly doubt it did, plus I'm not the person who made the original comment, so how could I, or you, possibly know that? Comments are meant for discussing the video, or interacting with others. There's obviously rules, but there is no real need to tell others when to comment when it's just a matter of personal preference. If it's a matter of something bothering you yourself, that's fine, you're entitled to feel that way. I just recommend you don't let comments, in any form, bother you, because believe me... There's a lot of crap on KZread, and many comments are right there in the pile. This is not one of them. They've done nothing wrong here, don't let it bother you. Found your chanel recently from an old Small Ant vod where he mentions that he found your channel and how good quality your videos were. I am not disappointed at all you make amazing content and I will be here waiting for your amazing upload schedule to gimme some more content to eat up. At some point I tried doing a minimum jump run in triple deluxe, and I would like to say it has a few cool tricks. In a few spots in the mirror sections, you can precisely combine air dodging and damage boosting to make it across 3 block gaps. I didn’t finish the run, but I still have the save file and the notes for that run. Here’s the notes that I have so far, and I might continue them at some point. If you see “ability refill stage” here, that means you can go to that stage without an ability to get your ability back. 1-1: 15 jumps, 1 sun stone Trick to avoid jump 6 1-2: 0 jumps, 3 sun stones 1-3: 14 jumps, 2 sun stones Ability refill stage 1-4: 0 jumps, 1 sun stone Requires whip 1-boss: no jumps 2-1: 0 jumps, 3 sun stones 2-2: 15 jumps, 2 sun stones 2-3: 0 jumps, 2 sun stones Ability refill stage 2-4: 16 jumps, 1 sun stone Requires whip Air dodge + damage boost = 3 block gap 2-boss: no jumps 3-1: 7 jumps, 1 sun stone 3-2: 0 jumps, 1 sun stone Ability refill stage 3-3: 2 jumps, 2 sun stones 3-4: 0 jumps, 2 sun stones Ability refill stage 3-5: 22 jumps, 2 sun stones Ability refill stage 3-boss: no jumps 4-1: 0 jumps, 2 sun stones I feel like 3 stones is possible 4-2: 0 jumps, 2 sun stones

Don’t ask about the trick to avoid jump 6 in the first stage, I tried to explain it to someone on CMeecraft’s video and I just confused them.

Star Allies- ironically, without Friend formations, it's actually just 2 but with the friend formations, you need to do 37 total so the totally would be 403 jumps

6:52 That would be the ability "burning", not fire. When the two are seperate (because sometimes fire subsumes burning), the difference is that 'fire' grants Kirby fire breath, while 'burning' grants kirby a fireball dash. Burning is also Kirby's dash attack in Smash.

Hey Sample, Just tested Star Allies. You need the good 'ole 2 jumps to get going on the first level, and then once you can mix, get a wind based element and add it to sword or bomb and you're good. That is until you get to the modern kirby gimmick that is friend circles which is unfortunately 35.

Hey that one random Kirby video is one of the best commentated TAS videos of any game I've ever seen

I remember when youtube recommended me your commentated tas. My first thought was "ugh, youtube I don't care to watch some big channel play through a game" Then I saw the views were pretty low, and the number of subs wasn't even 4 digits. That made me think "oh, this might actually be something relevant to me" so I gave it a shot. Glad to be here now. Sometimes the youtube recommended does its job

Hi! So after watching this video, I knew that Star Allies would take a lot more than 2 jumps, so I did the challenge myself. Turns out there are 41 jumps required for this game, but I recomend trying this yourself, as I kinda suck and I might have miscounted. Most of these jumps are from the friend circle mechanic (mainly because fighter exists in this game). But as always, I love your content and hope you make more Kirby videos. Bye! :)

I already did Kirby 64 Jumpless recently, and I was able to do 1-1 in only 2 jumps. One to get past the first platform, and one immediately after the miniboss. If you inhale a Bronto Burt and then press L, R or a C Button, you can fly for a brief moment. Once I grabbed Bomb, I then pause-warped to the start of the level to combine it with Fire. Your total jumps were still lower than mine though, as I got 52.
