@@Gadavillers-Panoir It was the 2nd Messiah. Also about the member of the ST.Clair family who built Roslyn chapel back in 1440. Himself a knight Templar and a member of the Freemasons. Also tells you whose face and body is on the Turin Shroud. They explain how they got to find out who it is. It’s not Jesus Christ. Shroud was carbon dated by top scientists in the 1980s to be around the 14th century.
I loved this, Ms. Jade! You've combined 2 of my favorite subjects, history and languages.
Yes, I am interested in learning more about the Viking period
As usual, utterly amazing lesson that includes culture, history and language. Please go ahead and complete the Vikings era and so on.
It would be awesome if you continue with this serie! Love your lessons and love your voice so much.
I would love to see more on the history of the English language! Thank you.
Yes, I look forward to your continuing teaching on the English language. I learned a bit whilst studying in Dorset and wrote a letter to my family and they thought I became crazy.... history is always interesting and enriching.

Jade, very educative and thorough interpretation. Please keep us entertained with more to come!
Congratulations for the channel your hard and beauty help me a lot and i understand english more easily
I just watched last night your past video about the witch that I enjoyed it. Now this morning without any sleep yet, I come to see this new video released now to learn more from you Jade about uncanny history and legends. Thank you so much Jade. Big Claps! Kudos!
This was fascinating to watch. I have a smattering of understanding of the early language, and history of the Anglo-Saxons. This subject is shrouded in uncertainty because the Old-English people did not record, in writing, much at all, in pre-Norman Britain. My last name is "Hathaway", and there are a few different explanations on It's meaning. The oldest version of the name, that has been found, in old tax record books is "Heathuweg". Anyways, I would really like to see further videos about this history.
Can't wait until the next lesson on after Vikings.
Always inspired by your teaching Jade. Thanks.
Good evening teacher 🙏🕊️💓🌷
I found myself learning about the history of English oddly from learning Russian, English used to have gender and I wanted to find examples to help me understand the Russian cases better. It's fascinating how languages evolve and old English is a great example. Thanks for the lesson and I would definitely be interested in learning more. 😄👍

A very interesting lesson. Thank you Ms. Joddle
This is amazing - Thank you. I remember a lot from history lessons at school (Particularly 1066), however this was amazing to see and yes would love to see a continuation of it.
I started talking English because the video game in mi childhood, bunch of them, were programmed in English, so there was just one way to Play them. Greeting from Argentina
Yes, go on! I studied linguistics at uni. These are great topics, at least for me :) Well done.
That's something new. These lections might be favourable for long-time viewers.
Hallo Jade, veery interesting! Please keep on with your history lessons!
This is excellent Jade. Historical format is a good vehicle to present your broader message. You are an underrated gem!
Yes, please continue with this lesson. Very interesting.
Thanks for the interesting lesson Jade. I grabbed a cup of tea, and made it till the end of the video. I'd gladly hear the next part of the history. EDIT: One small note, this is probably something that can be overlooked by other people, but I was a little distracted by the auto-exposure setting of your camera with the screen constantly going brighter and darker.

I'll look into it, but I think the issue is caused by moving out of the path of the lights and not caused by a setting.
This was quite interesting, historical processes have a significant impact on changing the culture of speech, so I would like to see a continuation! And one more thing, you are gorgeous!
I really enjoyed watching this video! I am a bit familiar with English history, but it was very useful to revise, and I love your style of narration ❤It would be great if you continued making videos on this topic, and especially on how the English language was changing over the mentioned time periods. The examples of words that came about at certain points in time are wonderful and really useful, and it would be interesting to learn about some changes in terms of grammar as well. Can't wait to see the next video!

Thanks for the history lesson. I'd love to see it continued!
Hello , Jade. First of all, I would like to say that your KZread channel is very good. About this topic , a few years ago I found out a website that defies completely this official history . English is really a Germanic language , with a lot of loan words from French , as a consequence of the Norman invasion in 1066, but also with Belgian and Scandinavian influences. I am Brazilian from Portuguese descent, and one of the things that always intrigued me was the reason why the Portuguese language sounded so phonetically different from Spanish, despite the grammar similarities . One of this days I was reading about the Iberian Peninsula , and came across an article that directed me to a link of a website written in English . This website stated that after agriculture was finally stabilished where is Portugal nowadays , the spoken language was not a Latin-like language , but a language that was the starting point of the Brythonic language group , that was later exported along the Atlantic seabord, from Portugal to Brittany (in Northern France) and to the rest of West Britain , and changed into different dialects when it got in contact with other local languages, but kept its peculiar sounds, despite the fact that those people couldn’t understand each other . Central, Southern and Eastern Spain already spoke a Latin-like language (but not pure Latin). I don’t know if this is true, but looking at the map it makes some sense. Unfortunately, I tried to recommed this website to a Brazilian English teacher of my acquaintance, but she told that it was no longer available (they were searching for a publisher ). But I printed it , and the names of the authors are Michael Goormachtigh and Anthony Durham and the title of their study is “How Old is English?” . Their theory is a personal attemp to demonstrate that English was not imported from the Anglo-Saxons , that were only a few soldiers that were hired to protect the area after the Romans departed. And there was not an imposition of their language in England , there is on the contrary ample evidence that English is native to England and it is a Germanic language , but different from continental Germanic. “They are” is completely diferente from “Sie sind”, for example. And there is no relation between genetic mix, language and tradition. The word “celtic” refers to a tradition, not to a nation or a specific group of people , and this completely western tradition had its origin in Southern Germany and Austria, that spoke a primitive form of Germanic , and this tradition was somehow adopted in Nothwest Iberia (Portugal, Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria), Brittany, West Britain and , to a minor extent, to other places , included West Turkey (Anatolia). As for Portugal, I recommend you the KZread video “Viriathus: The Lusitanian shepherd that defied the Mighty Roman Empire”. After the conquest of Lusitania (now Portugal) , Latin became the official language (mixed with primitive Brythonic sounds), and the Romans departed to conquer Britain. According to Wikipedia, Viriathus ,a latinized name , had a“Celtic”(actually Brythonic) name , but the original Celts actually spoke a form of Germanic . Best regards, Márcio.
Fantastic video! I've definitely loved it! So important to know all those historical events to grasp language origins. Great big thanks! (french) "C'était trop génial, merci !"
I wish there was a font with your handwriting. If there is none, I might try to design it one day.
Very interesting topic, I really hope it's successful enough for the series to continue
