How Do US Navy Sailors Protect Aircraft Carriers From Sharks?

How Do US Navy Sailors Protect Aircraft Carriers From Sharks?
US Navy sailors spend their time for months in the middle of the sea on a ship. But there are times when they have to go into the water. This is because they need to prepare for an emergency or to take a relaxing swim. Because there are sharks swimming there are also many sailors who do not participate in this because they consider it too dangerous. The US Navy has special methods to make sure their crew members are safe in the middle of the sea.
What happens when sharks swim too close to a US aircraft carrier?
When sailors are allowed to take a dive and jump off the ship, in Naval terminology it is called a "Swim call’’. As soon as the ship’s Commanding Officer checks the sea and gives the go-ahead, sailors jump off a lowered hangar bay elevator into the sea. Although relaxing, swim calls pose quite a risk to an aircraft carrier seeing as all of the ship’s operations are put on hold during this process. Anything can go wrong, from an enemy ship to a shark attack.

Aircraft carriers, don't need protection from sharks, because, there are many sharks that follow aircraft carriers. The 4 main types of sharks that follow aircraft carriers, are the Tiger, the Gray Tip, the Black Tip, and the Mako, sharks. When a aircraft carrier, gets close to land, like Hawaii, dolphins and their cousin start following the carrier, and play in the wake of the carrier, by doing their tricks. If the Captain of a carrier, allows swim days, he needs to put in 1 to 2 boats of Marines, with guns, to help protect the swimmers. The Marines are too busy aboard aircraft carriers. I served aboard 2 different aircraft carriers, during the 4 years that I served in the Navy.

Have you seen how fast a shark swims away when you add shark juice from an old dead shark kept in a big bottle and add it to the water. They immediately pick it up as a warning that it is not a safe environment. I saw that experiment on numerous occasions.

US Navy should bring dolphins in the middle of the sea while they 're enjoying swimming. Trained Dolphins are very talented mammals They have well-developed hearing which is adapted for both air and water. It is so well developed that some can survive even if they are blind. Dolphins are the fastest swimmers than any other mammals, fish or species in the water. They are friendly to humans and they can help in times when there is danger in the sea.

How do you launch a dolphin from a carrier? Catapult launch seems the obvious answer and they are fairly streamlined with the ability to control attitude with fans and flippers, how would you get the goggles to stay on??

Worst US naval shark attack is the USS innadapolis which was a cruiser. This was after it has delivered atomic bomb under secrecy to the front so no one knew it was there and there was no escort. It was sunk by Japanese sub and was no rescue in time, cause an estaimated 150 shark attack on the survivor of the ship wreck.
