My four female German shepherds are very affectionate, and they all are in different ways. One of them loves to jump up and hug you. Another one likes to lick your face. Another one likes to cuddle, and another one loves to be hugged. I think that’s why they’re the number one breed in the world I myself feel so lucky. to have such 4 loving dogs that unconditionally love you and they’re there for you no matter what I would do anything for my dogs. They are everything to me. I love them more than my own life one thing that’s so great about them is they understand what I say the commands I give them are in full sentences and they understand I know that sounds crazy, but it’s Absolutely true they truly are my Harvard dogs

I have three black GSDs . I love them so much .

LOVE then, lost my guy a little while ago he was 11 1/2 yrs. heart breaking, but I really have to stay he was a Mommy dog, I just fed,walk, and clean up after him, but I still love him

So sorry for your loss. I grew up with dogs but never had a GSD until now. They are one of a kind. Loyal and loving! Your doggy was lucky to have had a loving owner like you 💜

I remember my German Shepherd and my Doberman both sat literally on my feet if I sat on the couch they would sit on my feet in between my legs, It could have been for protection, probably was. Even my Shepherd would be the Sentry of the family on patrol at night while everyone else was asleep. Going from room to room, doing his nightly patrols. Kind of cute, but he had his nightly missions.

Great video.German Shepherds are such a special breed and once you have had one you will always have one. Thanks for talking about adopting a rescue or shelter dog.i have adopted rescue German Shepherds most of my life.i am in my 50’s and live alone,no wife,kids or other pets so I adopt the abused or ones who need that special home. You have to take things slow and show them a lot of love and patience.my current girl has horribly abused and so aggressive when the rescue got her out of the shelter no one could even touch her.when I got her it took a over three months before she relaxed and showed any affection.two years later she is the best dog I have ever had and the most affectionate. So if you are looking to adopt a German Shepherd don’t over look the ones that may have a few issues.with love and patience they will be your best friend because they are German Shepherds.

We need more people like you that are willing to take the time to properly care for these amazing dogs - especially the ones that are neglected and abused. We see these stories all the time, but it's nevertheless still shocking to see that people are capable of harming such beautiful animals. My brother has a 2 year old German Shepherd that i have known since he was a little puppy. The sneaky lick on the face out of nowhere he does when you aren't ready is hilarious. He is super playful and my brother takes him on long walks without a leash everyday in the forest and he loves every second of it.

Yup, my male GSD is my fella for all time. He is definitely dads boy, and always puts himself between me and doors or other people. Treats other people rather aloof, yet will take pets and pats. However, once that's over, he watches. Most amazing and fulfilling companion I have ever known.

I did not know that about the yawn!! I am going to test that lol. Great job on the video!

Yeah right on! I have a female nearly 2 yr old and have 2 young human kids, and she is just the best!!! Soooo glad I got exactly her!!!💚💛🧡💙💜

hi my gds show the love everyday we are lucky we live from1 minuete from the beach and 5 mins in the car and5 mins from the mountain all they ask for is food exersize and love which they get they are loving and protective and love to be trained i and the dogs are so happy they love it when i let them off the lead to run and chase each other some poeple shy away from gds but bad owners give them that reputaition as you know thank you for a great vlog

That's always a funny one!

I own a 4 year old male named Shadow..... got him when he was 10 weeks old... they truly are one of the top most intelligent breeds.... he is so clever.... there is one thing I will say if you plan on getting this breed they are very active dogs & they require a lot of exercise so you've got to invest a lot of activity with them because they need it if you don't plan on giving them what they need than don't invest in this breed.. .

I have four shepherds, one of which is deaf. All my shepherds show my girlfriend and me great love , but my deaf boy is definitely my dog, most affectionate to me of the group. He is not aggresive at all regarding food, trains more easily than you might think, IF he can see the instruction, but he is very aggressive when playing ball! If one of the others has a ball he wants, he's going to get it!

I cant decide to get a boy or a girl. I really wamt a big boi but also want a dog who will love me and my partner and be socially acceptable around my friends Can i get this with a male?

We think you can get that with a male. Training and discipline (for both the dog and owners) is an important part of that process.

So basically the same as every other dog...thanks lol

What about nibbling your arm, and pinching you with those teeth. What about when I am ignoring her and she takes my hand in her mouth, and won't let it go. lol.
