Спорт

The careers of Dale Earnhardt Jr and Cody Rhodes are incredibly similar, with the most obvious being that their dad's were both superstars in their respective field who have since passed away. Cody and Dale relate to each other about what it was like losing their dad and no longer being able to do things like call them up on the phone to ask for guidance. How did they get past it? I Agree with you 100% when Cody left after the Stardust thing and went to the indies, he knew he had to step up and set a culture in every locker room he stepped into until he got to AEW. By the time he got to AEW, the suits had become apart of his character and made Cody the star he is today.

My dad passed away unexpectedly 7 months ago. We were best friends. I can still barely get through each day. I really appreciate the perspectives of Cody and Dale about their dads and how they keep them both alive by honoring their memories and legacies.

I love how Cody is laser focused on Dale Jr when he is asking Cody a question. And the thoughtfulness in his answers is simply awesome. And to top it off, Cody is dressed in a three piece suit. Come on now! Talk about presenting yourself in such a positive light and respectful manner. Kudos to him for setting a great example.

He always credits Cena and Hunter as his role models and I can absolutely see what he took from both guys, and obviously he looks up to Dusty as much if not more as he did with those guys I just mentioned. And you can tell leaving and going to the indies and eventually with ROH and AEW, was something that absolutely needed to be done for him to not only be perceived by WWE management as a top guy but also as a grown adult and not the same 19 year old kid they signed in 2006.

If there's one thing Cody has going for him is that he learned from his father, Dusty, well because he was one of the greatest voices to ever grace a mic and go in the ring. The fact Cody is where he is today is all on him deciding to give what his father taught him an update which has really made him one of the most successful son of a famous wrestler stories in wrestling.
