It’s not even that bad without the game audio! It’s not like there isn’t 30+ years of amazing fighting game OSTs to pull from in the event of an audio problem. I’m all about the shenanigans in the video and the music fits it perfectly. Keep up the great content!

About the audio, Justin did clarify in the last SF6 video that he forgot to have that turned on. So more than likely this video is probably part of the same stream as that video. If that's the case, then it makes sense why there's no audio again for this video. Give our boy JWong some slack. He'll correct it. Mistakes happen. Still a good video nonetheless. Let's be happy that his mic works 🤣

I think this misses the point. I think the majority of us don’t feel engaged without the sound and is almost unwatchable for many folks. Mistakes aside, I see that these videos are almost unworthy of being published because of that fact alone. I know it’s wasted time on camera, but the views will tank substantially for these few videos from that stream. It’s unacceptable in the future, definitely. Also, the volume of the OSTs in this video makes it very unpleasant as well, just as a note. Not all are the best tracks that could have been played on blast.

If traditional fgs continue existing after a very long time, part of the complaining boomers will have to use "modern controls" anyways. Then when that time comes, modern controls will no longer have an image of accessible feature for zoomers... it will include the boomers who are unable to keep doing the traditional commands.

If a musician is too old or has too many disabilities where they are unable to play their instrument anymore, are they still a musician? Does them playing guitar hero allow them to stay relevant?

I'm a Modern control Kimberly player and yes I do lose a few things by using that set-up , but my strength is my speed and aggression (leads me to be countered) but as I learn to use that character, it is teaching me how plenty of mid-level players use the roster and how combos are a LOT of their lifeblood and breaking their routine gets me a few wins and at 62 years old and playing since 1987, it's fun to play with people that wasn't even born when I first played SF 1 and 2

@@YiffyShonryu thanks , when I was young we did the hopping from arcade to arcade to challenge the best guys ( it felt like ) going to another dojo , it was the travel, hoping the machine was in good working order, when I was home on vacations , I would go all over the northeast NJ/NY Connecticut , Boston it was great to be a gamer in the late 80s/90s

How do people feel about modern controls? I love SF6 but as I've grown older I struggle with the inputs on classic controls (arthritis) and when I go online I feel so cheap because I use modern controls which in turn discourages me to play online. I just want to know how people feel and if I'm being silly for thinking like this. Thanks all :)

Yeah modern isn't an auto win button like they keep telling ya, so feel free to use, choose the one that brings you the most joy and most comfortable. If you beat me bc I played worst than ya, not bc of your control type. Also, losing buttons and having to hold the assist buttons for moves is a big drawback, so Modern is not as free as every one made it out to be.

I prefer modern way more than classic. It is only really better at low level where your opponents drop simple combos and inputs. You can see most tournaments the top players aren't really using it. Biggest advantage is the 1 button supers and DPs

I don’t mind modern players I tried modern zangief but quickly switched to classic I’m actually better with classic. Modern is fair game you still have to play the game the right way.

I use classic on an arcade stick. I could play for 16 hours straight only stopped for food and the toilet.

Actually a huge fan of the no game audio with just music playing. Very chill

It all depends on the player's skill level. Any character can be good or bad with Modern settings. Same thing with Classic settings.

Yes you can it’s not shown on the command list though it’s light light medium heavy. But I like to do it by having a button for all 3 punches so I can do 2 light punches then press the button since it’s easier for me since I’m used to forward medium like on classic.

The kind of audio mistake you really don't want to do again... at least, you saved the video with good background music, plus commentating your own matches!

yo please bring back the sound effects for the game, it kinda feels dull just listening to the music and the sound effects

Ok these videos without the sound need to go away. They lack impact when it’s only the music and your videos deserve better.

Modern akuma is not dangerous at all. He doesn’t have an overhead and his demon rage sucks, because he can only use medium one. I think it’s a shame for every modern player like me

Modern controls and the shitty roster will stop me from getting into this game. Not to mention the whole game just seems to focused on drive . Fighting games really fell off in terms of quality and design philosophy

Street fighter 6 more like jump fighter 6.

Street Fighter 5, and it's changes to mechanics is why I abandoned the franchise. Seeing it take an even more stylized turn in SF6 really solidified that decision. Street Fighter used to be my absolute favorite of the genre. Sadly, now it's not even an afterthought.
