I pay $135 USD, in a really nice hotel with 2 beds, fridge & bathroom. It includes electricity & water. It has a beautiful garden to chill out in. I live in Thailand.

I'm in Portland Oregon - paying $1200 for a really small studio apartment. I have to pay $200/mo for parking - and $80 for the use of the building, which makes no sense too me. On top of that - I have my regular bills. Today has been my first day in the last week to myself...and I'm sitting here wondering why I'm sitting here. I'm receiving unemployment - plus I work at a gas station (thanks, Covid) on the weekends. I leave work drained and depressed because apparently I was hired to win an un-winnable battle regarding masks. If I can hold on until September...and when my $$$ comes in from a court case, Mexico bound. Not for life - but for a year of figuring it out, healing, and working on my journey. Thanks for allowing my rant!

I feel you! My girl and I live in Portland now but are tired of it.......so we are moving to Playa in September! I don't think we will ever come back.

Your rent is cheaper than my first apartment back in 1993! Now my mortgage is $2500 and I'm about to sell it asap so I can travel like you! Life is too short to just be paying for things I don't need. So continue to live your best life!! I wish I had started traveling earlier but it's never too late!🤗🤗

I’m in Buenos Aires, Argentina my rent is 68,000 pesos. In dollars that is $462.00 at the exchange rate of 147 pesos per American dollar. The rate changes pretty frequently so anyone planning to move here should know that and check. We want to go to Mexico next!

Oh My Goodness!! I am going to Portugal as well. I want to visit Mexico first and I applied for the Portugal D7 visa since I quit my FT job and I am working online and for myself and I am just waiting. I currently live near Tampa, Fl and my mortgage for a 2br 2 1/2 bath townhome in a gated community is $867 plus I have to pay the HOA $239 a month. It is not that bad, but I know the quality of life elsewhere will be so much better. I am going to be renting out my place. I just cannot wait to leave the US, seriously. You are going to love Portugal! I have bing watched so many videos for about a year, and I think it will be a good fit got me with easy access to the rest of Europe and Africa. Thank you as always Energii for your cool and informative videos. I pray your move goes well and you find peace in Chiapas (hope spelling is right:)) Thanks again!

Portugal is super cool,I grow up in Lisbon & loved it...

If my rent was that cheap I’d be living high of the Hog ! For real a 1 bedroom my son was paying 1,700.00 , a 2 bedrooms go for 2,500.00 people have to have roommates because one person can’t afford it it’s Crazy and be careful of the Neighbors they are the ones that sometimes do crazy stuff so keep you eyes out he sees your by yourself 🙄

I love to travel and have feared traveling because of having kids until forced to make the change. My friend was in Vietnam a couple years back and told me to come but I was too chicken. I just got passports for the kids and making that change now. Exhausted by not having enough and just having stuff.

We cant wait to see all of the Chiapas videos you’ll do. Guessing your rental there will be way cheaper, right ?

so chiapas is cheaper yes but in san cristobal its a super touristy area so prices are quite similar to playa but not as much

Odds are his wife knows he’s like that or he has some other reason to feel she won’t leave. He’s way too shameless about it. Like it didn’t even seem to occur to him that you may give the note to her. Smh. Glad you’re out of there

Hi there! I was looking at your footage and thinking wait that’s where my kids and I were last year!! 🤔 We we’re in Real Bilbao, in the non beach side. Just curious, how was the WiFi for you? We found it to be horrible! The apartment was decent but between the spotty internet, not being able to use the a/c in each room at the same time and the 🪳 we had to go! 💨 Hopefully now that the pandemic has calmed down things will be better the second time around 🤞🏾 but I also want to stay closer to the beach! LOVE your videos BTW and I’m gonna sign up for your Mexico course soon! 😉 😉

There's soooooo many different sides to Mexico. If your move takes longer than you expected, go se more of Mexico. So many different climates, food, culture, history... I've explored middle east and west, and STILL have more places on my list!

@@VeganNita no no no, but some places can get that high, It used to be cheaper here tho, average rent is $750-$1300

1500, non-furnished, 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhouse with very high ceilings, garage, and fenced backyard. Way too much, I know, but safe and quiet. Your neighbor is a whole entire CREEP. I would call the police if someone did that to me more than once.

Please be careful out there. Yeah you need to move.

Mexicans don't get paid in dollars so you really cant compare to living in the US. Mexicans average a salary of around $8.00 a day.

america is not a continent. North America is and South America are. it’s improper to call them america. (the Americas maybe) but Colloquially the US is called america. Canadians would never call themselves american and Mexicans rarely call themselves Americans. (but if they live in the Americas sure they can call themselves americans) but since the United States of America is shortened to either United States or to America , and its citizens called Americans around the world, i will still call it America despite the unnecessary drama politically correct people create. thanks

I will give you an exaple: when you order somthing from china lets say and you want them to ship it to your country, you eill check on the drop line and find your country, you will never find America. You will find the United State That is why all the Latinos call the US Estados Unidos that is it. Because America is all of us the Americas! Please do some reserach about it.
