Oaxaca | Mexico’s indigenous villages are seriously AMAZING 😳
Oaxaca, Mexico: I spent the day in Mexico's indigenous villages. They are so amazing. Here in Oaxaca, there is one of the largest Mexican indigenous populations. Here in these villages are the Zapotec people. They make artisan crafts as their ancestors taught them. It was so cool!

I'm from Oaxaca. I lived in the US for 20 years and now I live in Tijuana. I have lived in Tijuana for 10 years. I'm glad that you are showcasing the amazing things of Oaxaca.
Oaxaca was surprisingly one of the most authentic cities we've visited in Mexico - you can shop on the markets, wander aimlessly cobbled stone streets in the city center, see a large number of churches which date many centuries back, indulge in local cuisine, photograph colorful houses, or get to know the indigenous
Oaxaca MEXICO one of the most beautifull cultural expression around the world!
I love how much fun you have and how much you explore where you live. I STAN for a carefree black woman! I have a family now but before, I was the same way and am looking forward to traveling with my family. People always have something to say but will also regret that they never really lived! Life is about having experiences and even making mistakes. So excited to see what’s to come from you! ♥️

You still got more places to visit like Monte Alban, Mitla, and Hierve el Agua and you definitely need to go
Teotitlán del Valle is home of the Zapotec chef Abigail Mendoza, she makes prehispanic food, she's very famous, go to her restaurant if you can.
Thank you!!! Wonderful video, calming and detaild, off the beaten path.

Big respect to you going to Oaxaca and not even speaking fluent Spanish. My wife was born and raised in San Juan mixtepec distro 8 where they speak saan savi. Was definitely a humbling experience seeing how and where my wife grew up. What’s awesome is besides the more “developed” roads people still live the same way as they did years and years ago.
Nice video!! I really liked seeing the local artisans and their talent.

When you order ice cream in Mèxico you often order it in a cup or container but you can also get it on an ice cream cone called a barquillo. In this way the name of that Oaxacan candy is also the name for an ice cream cone.
