Since Karl loves working on RS6’s so much, can you replace timing chain/guides/tensioners etc on a C7 RS6 Performance… nothing wrong with the car, just preventative maintenance along with engine mounts, centre diff mount… is this in REP’s remit? 👍

That tool that opens the casing isn’t like another Vw tool for doing a certain broken selector fork in a certain Vw gearbox…

When someone complains about an hourly rate, they need to be shown this video. Why..? Because the hourly rate represents years of knowledge, experience and skill, shown in this video at how he pulled down a high performance gearbox so easily, quickly and with no damage or problems. Ascertaining what had gone wrong. You pay for the privilege of having experience fix your shit..! Great video 👌🏼

Do the mclaren dct's have the magnets that get covered in swarf?

He is going for uprated second and we have another input shaft and reverse gear we can use.

In my mind, easy-ish to dismantle (although experience and skills definitely help) - then buy a full replacement as I would have no idea how it went back together!

Yeah the noise would unbearable. they use them in rally cars and race cars but you have ear plugs and a lid on. helical cut gears are smoother and quiet.

you need to do stuff like this more often!! where we see you in your natural habitat!! reminds me of the days you used to do builds on r8s!!! twin jets lets goo!!!! I hate it when you say Israel... #free Palestine!

Why does anyone buy these shite cars, Lambos, Audi, Mclarens they are all junk that lasts ten seconds. If I want a car that I can thrash the crap out of and do fast 0-60s and burnouts I get a hire car. I think a lot of these cars are sold to people with tiny ……
