💯. Despite all its imperfections, this was the car that every kid drooled over during the mid to late 80s. In the late 90s and the early 2000s, you were able to pick up mint examples for as low as 50k. Just like with many cars, those days are long gone.

Showing them the cars of my dreams when I was a boy when so many new cars look like Tupperware is such a great thing to be able to do. Love the way you break things down. It really educates people on what to look for and what are desirable mods etc. Just a great job. I hope you do a counter on the ins and outs of the Testarossa! Would be great. One of my favorites I saved was the fox body explaining what to look for and avoid etc. great informative video. 💪🏽🍻

My compliments on the time and effort taken to put this video together. If I may allow me to offer two clarifications: LP stands for Longitudine Posteriore which translates to Longitudinal Posterior in that the engine is positioned lengthwise in the car and behind the transmission. Countaches were made carbureted right until the last one. The fuel injection system was introduced with the 5000 variant in order to meet US Emissions. It had nothing to do with developing more power or reliability. Rest of world cars got carbs right till the end. The US was a super important market for Lamborghini and you can imagine the expense to develop a FI system for so few cars.

Great points! Yes, as I mentioned in the video; emissions was the biggest factor for the fuel injection system. The reliability of the fuel injection is just a byproduct, not it’s main objective 💯💯 Benzina thanks for watching! 👊👊

Had the matchbox at age 10, got the poster at age 12 saw the first on the road when 17 and drove the first at age 30, still waiting for the lottery and buy one LP 400 periscope. In the meantime enjoying my Porsche Boxster.
