The TERRIFYING Last Moments of Formula One Driver Ayrton Senna
Ойын-сауық
What was to be another defining race in a career built on breathtaking speeds and fearless driving turned into a somber day that would forever alter the course of Formula One. Today, we delve into the tragic events of the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, and the terrifying last minutes of one of the greatest drivers in the history of motorsport and F1.
Ayrton Senna was a racing maestro whose life on the track was as compelling as it was heroic. Driver, innovator, strategist, Senna was to many F1 fans what Picasso and Michealangelo was to art. His commitment to pushing the limits of what seemed possible defined his career and inspired legions of fans and fellow drivers alike. With multiple world championships and countless victories, he was on a path to reshape Formula One with his vision and unrivaled talent.
Until one fateful day at the Imola circuit, when a journey meant to showcase the pinnacle of his prowess instead became a chilling tale of how fast things can go wrong on the racetracks.

I agree. Ayrton was beautiful in many ways. The one thing that makes me furious is the way Jean Marie Balestre treated him throughout his career in formula one and all because he favoured Alain Prost. It makes me sick because I felt like Ayrton was a victim of racism because of that conceited and selfish man!

After Imola and his death I needed a break of many years..
So many inaccuracies in this video…
Someone on the team modified the steering column in his car. That steering column modification broke, leaving him with no steering, going 190 miles per hour. From there, Ayrton Senna was a dead man. That's why the car went straight off the corner, straight into the wall. The lesson is...if you ever have any doubts in the car, get out and walk away. Ayrton almost did that on race day. Almost. Dammit.

I wish Ayrton had listened to Sid Watkins and not raced that weekend, but quitting was not in his nature and to do so would have taken a toll on him over time. I will never stop missing this great man ❤

Ayrton Senna was the reason I started watching F1. And Ayrton Senna is the reason I still watch F1 to this day. RIP Ayrton and RIP Roland.
Ayrton Senna...for ever with all legends of this sport... RIP
One thing ive learned about the Senna accident over the last 30 years is that you cannot trust anything said about the crash in a British accent.
Wow. Thay edit of Senna and Hamilton walking down rhe pitlane in Brazil. Very touching.
After watching the video of the accident several times and finding different angles of the accident, it is clear that there was signal interference that caused the incident and placed the front wheels to the right side abruptly. I think Senna didn't have time to brake, if it was a driver's error, the driver would have tried to brake, and it would be clearly visible in the video, however we see no sign of braking, after the failure the car lost power, due to this, caused Senna's head to move forward before turning right abruptly before the impact, it is a clear sign that the car lost speed before turning to the right the speed would have been 306km/h if the steering had left before the accident we would see at least for a brief moment the car move left and right, first left because it is clear that the Senna is still turning left, the fault put the car to the right so abruptly and lost power that it must be very difficult to understand what is happening. This happens right after the camera failure, the failure happens in Schumacher's camera also indicating that the signal was coming from the back, caused by something behind the cars. Another fact that is important to me is that after the impact the left wheel probably should have turned in a different direction because nothing supported it, but if we look at the video the left wheel continues to be turned to the right, the car moves wm direction of the track, however, it leaves the track after the accident precisely because the left wheel is turned to the right, if this were not the case the car should have stopped in the middle of the track and not off the track after the accident, even when the car it was removed and close to the pits, it is clear that the left wheel continues to face the right side and is fixed in that position. The strange thing is that there was a video of a spectator who caught the accident from afar, in the same video before the fatal turn, we can also observe an interference in his camera, the spectator turned the camera downwards giving the impression that he was checking if something would be wrong with the camera, before returning to film again. I believe it was the nose of the car that penetrated the helmet, if it had been the steering bar it would have taken Senna's head off, as the wheel was stuck between the car and the wall, and Senna had a direct collision with the wall, as there is a yellow mark on the wall, as well as the lack of the right side of the clip that adjusts the air intake in the helmet, thus leaving a circular hole, the deformation of the helmet on the right side is also visible, leaving, Of course, there would be fatality and probably irreversible damage to the skull. I began to believe that the accident with Roland Rosenberg and Barichello was caused by the same failure, as a test. But in the end, if we discover the truth behind this tragic weekend, nothing will bring Roland and Ayrton back. kzread.info/dash/bejne/o62X166lhpurhMo.html

Senna was undeniably a great driver, but he did have a tendency to over drive or push beyond the limit, look at some of his altercations with Prost. Either way he leaves an everlasting legacy. RIP legend.
I hope he was at least completely unconscious and didn't notice anything in the time between the impact and the final moment of death 😥

I never understood why there was no tyres to absorb impact along these concrete walls!! Was it that dificult or expensive to get enough used tyres?

@20:52 flying debris, thousands and thousands, that's what killed senna. theses f1 was absolute carnage, like if they disintegrated themselves against walls. it's not the suspensions who killed senna, but his car parts bouncing on his face while desintegrating against the wall. the number of impacts on his helmet are massive, and obviously some debris went into his visor. halo wouldn't have saved him.
I often wonder if they were able to keep the ABS system if you would still be alive.
That's nothing compared to what happened with Tom Pryce in 1977 and 4 years before that Roger williamson

I cant take documentarys seriously when photos and videos switches from old to new that has nothing to do with Ayrton. Or when someone talks about Rubens crash and shows picture from Rolands. RIP to both Ayrton and Roland, but this "documentary" was awful. Do some more research next time.
What a stupid comment from D. hill. But he didnt have anything else to say, what else could hill say, after being beat by Senna every race qualifying that year. Being lapped by Senna on the first race, and out qualified by senna by nearly 1.5 secs

Actually, it wasn’t his kart, but his sisters, however she didn’t have an interest in the kart so Ayerton wuickly stepped.
Senna was killed.

I heard some stories about sniper at Tamburello. This might be true.
@24:15 it seems that the impact destroyed his nose.
It looks like he's stopping a metal rod (16:12).
There is no rule requiring a driver to finish in the top 10 in Monaco (or anywhere).
@chops1976

In modern F1, you do in order to earn any championship points. However, in 1994 you actually had to finish in the top SIX to finish in the points, not the top ten as stated in the video.
Not sure if this is accurate? I've heard he died instantly as a control rod went through his visor???
Senna dod not only break....he shifted down 2 gears....and tried to brake in a way...so his car would hit the wAll rear first.....and al that in 1.2 milisecond.... I just want to say... if he had the car turned to hit the wall rear first. He would be still alive. Prior to the race he had the steering column enhace nbut the team put a coppper pipe inside his steering collumn
😭
"The not very terrifying entire career of a privileged Brazilian before his unfortunate death"
A pity you did not research more and instead went for click bait. Senna’s car did hit the wall, but it was a front wheel that came up to hit him on the side of the helmet and caused the skull fractures that led to his death. Usually such an accident would have been survive able but Senna was unfortunate with the trajectory of the wheel. As a racing death it was not unique. Henry Surtees, the son of World Champion John suffered the same hit to the head.
Senna? Something was missing from very beginning.Anything else's bullshitt.

What was missing?
He likely mistook/forgot where he should be braking because of all the thoughts in his head.
