@@yoppi560 Cooking is a tradition and cultural. I am speaking of my own frustrations with own family mainly. They might eat stuff like this. My grandmother (she learned from his mother and her mother) and grandfather could cook (he owned several pie and doughnuts shops). None of there children who are my aunts and uncles (including my mother) learned because it was too traditional, too retro and not cool. This happened with other family members as well and they passed this lack of skills onto gen x who passed to gen z and walla! Tiktok Chef boyaredee a la processed food.

Not really; if I get a jar that I mix with pasta there are two types, one where I cook pasta first and another where you mix with dried pasta + water and then oven bake.

This is a good dish to use when interrogating someone lactose intolerant.

I was almost into it until he added uncooked onion, garlic jam and jarred pasta sauce.

A lot of people don’t get that in Italian cooking there’s a better level of flavor than this. Moderation is the key. Go for umami, not drowning in cheese.

A lot of people also don't get that using pasta doesn't mean you're necessarily going for 'Italian vibes'. Sometimes, you have the munchies & just want the cheesiest pan of pepperoni mac & cheese possible. Lol. I love the munchies and I love cheese but I wouldn't even want to be in the same house as this 'dish' ... 🤢🤢 I don't do 'stinky' cheeses at all... not even mildly stinky 🤭... & when he mixed in those melty bricks w the tomato sauce, it was almost too much for me to stomach... between the pinkish color & the imagined smell... this seems like it would look/ smell the same coming up or going down. 😆 The pepperoni made it look better... but once you've seen what lurks beneath, no amount of broiled pepperoni can make it ok.

They put seasoning dude. Garlic and Oregano. And there’s tons of spices in that tomato sauce. I don’t think this dish was lacking flavor per se but execution was very unorthodox. And also being ASIAN has nothing to do with not liking Cheese. Pat Morita/Arnold from Happy Days/Mr.Miyagi’s favorite food was Pizza and millions of Asians will agree with me about Pizza being the bomb, yo.

Had it been sour cream, creme fraiche, bechamel, or any combination thereof instead of thin milk. . .and, had it been a delicate amount of tomato paste instead of an entire jar of store bought tomato sauce, you may have been onto something. As for adding pepperoni, I'm not in complete disagreement given what you were going for, but I do think prosciutto would have elevated the dish more. Also a fontina/mozzarella blend would have been far more interesting than mozz alone. Lastly, I would have done tallegio instead of the feta, or even in addition to the feta. Better melting and better tasting.

What exactly was the point of putting those two big blocks of cheese in the middle of the pan and not cutting it up to disperse throughout the dish ahead of time.
