Being married for over 16 years, especially for someone in the entertainment industry, speaks volumes of his character. Also, can we acknowledge how happy and handsome those three boys look?

Wish someone stayed in my life that long. Girls don't even stay long enough to know me. Alan was smart to marry young and not be one of those 30 something year old single people.

You don't know what is going on in their lives, especially his. I am not saying anything against him, idk him either but plenty of "happily married" men who are famous end up cheating because girls are throwing themselves at them. Again not saying he does or did, just saying we never know. If someone is cheating they wont be stupid enough to tell everyone about it lol

He sounds like a legit good person. It’s great to see good things come to good people and their families.

Alan Ritchson is perfectly cast as Reacher and it became absolutely clear in the very first scene of the show. In the books Reacher doesn't say much, instead, he conveys what he feels through his steely-eyed glare, and Ritchson nailed it within the first few minutes of Episode 1!

Loved him as Reacher!! As a reader of the books, he fit the part beautifully!!! I hope Amazon is smart enough to keep the series going!!

Word. I was highly skeptical going into it, having read a few of the books and being disappointed with Cruise not having the physique. But it was really good. Now I hear he's bulked up for the second season. Not good. He needs to be somewhat lithe and sneaky strong with his fighting skills. We'll see.

They aged so well… beautiful couple and I wish them the best!

You can sense that Alan Is such a humble person despite his muscles, his dedication to his family is his pride and his wife is so lucky to have met such a wonderful human being I'm so amaze by Reacher and can't wait to see season 2 and i hope one day there's a dedicated movie where he played JACK REACHER because I genuinely think he's best suited for the role

Alan Ritchson is perfectly cast as Reacher, fits the character in the book so much better than in the recent movie. Love that the story was turned into a series instead of a quick turn around movie. Can't wait for the next chapter with Alan Ritchson as Reacher.

Tom cruise was actually the WRONG person to play Reacher. ALAN was PERFECT cause he was portrayed just as Reacher described in the books

I saw Tom's movies before I knew there were books. Based on that though the acting was good. But after reading one of the books and seeing the first season have to fully agree Ritchson is miles better portrail of Reacher.

Not quite how he is described in the books.. and Alan plays him a little too “bro”. Kind of frat boy Reacher. But he is loads better than Tom Cruise. Huge improvement

Not very hard to be better than Tom when Reacher is mainly defined by his physical stature.

I have loved Reacher with Alan. No one else could portray Reacher. I’m actually watching it again while home sick with bronchitis. It’s helping me get through and back to health.

The fact that he’s a sweet guy but was able to play Thad just proves he’s an incredible actor 😂

The 'struggles' you mentioned in their family life are also linked to to Alan's bipolar diagnosis. He's been very open about his diagnosis and the difficulties it has caused for him and in his family life.

Never knew he was such a sincere and loyal person, a true asset to us all, best of luck to you.

Was really pleased with his performance in Reacher. More impressed with the man, husband, and father. There is real honestly in admitting the dark moments and wondering how you can keep one foot in front of another for yourself and those you love. Wishing him and all of his loves the best. Reacher is the only thing i am truly waiting for this year. First season was just spectacular and Alan is embodiment of Reacher

Allan R. Is indeed perfect for reacher. My only problem with it is season 2 can't come soon enough. One of the best shows I've enjoyed.

It's good to see a great piece of casting overwhelmed by a great Man , Husband and Father.

Reacher was a great series. I binge watch. I honestly didn’t think it would be good but I was wrong. They had a great supporting cast as well. He definitely was the right person to cast as Reacher. I am waiting for the next season to start already 😂. What a great video. I didn’t know any of this. The icing on the cake is his family. It’s satisfying to see a happy family life. It’s also great to find out he is genuinely a great person in real life. That makes me like him even more. I hope Amazon picks up many more seasons of this series.

Have been a long-time fan of the Jack Reacher novels by Lee Child. I felt Tom Cruise was totally miscast and it was difficult to swallow how Hollywood could get a character so wrong, and why Mr. Child went along with it. Finally, they found the perfect guy. Although now, Alan is far more handsome than his written character, he is totally believable. As for his personal life, I hope he keeps his fame in perspective and continues to value what is most precious, his family and the love they share. It is so refreshing to read about famous people who don't change partners every few years, and create one extended family after another.

Never heard of him or seen him before this video .He is gorgeous and he's got three little mini me boys .A great couple ,such a strong marriage.

He is Jack Reacher. was perfect fit for the part. read all the books and he fits reacher perfectly.

He is perfect for Reacher.

It’s like Lee Child saw Alan and then wrote Reacher.. that’s how right he is in the part. The fact Alan is a good actor and totally channels Reacher’s energy, is all Alan. Love Tom but he allowed his love for the books to overshadow his usual good sense with movies.. so glad he listened and gracefully moved it on.

Good to see a man that has such respect for his wife and his family. Way to go Alan that makes you number one more so than the great show reacher

Alan Richardson is a Great Actor and I’m looking forward to seeing him in more Reacher Movies and hopefully in other movies his characters will be great to see in any film. I’d like to see him play good and bad guys that sounds great I believe his characters are or will be. He’s really great and he fits his seen like a true hero. I like 👍 to leave this quote by saying Reacher Don’t Cry, and by saying It’s ok to Cry now Reacher. Those parts reminded me of when my uncle had said the very same to me at my moms wake.
