Self-Love the Book: selflovethebook.com
The following is a personal share of my early stages of dating after divorce and quite frankly, I was very dysfunctional maybe even considered "a serial dater." And yet through my dysfunction, all these experiences resulted in choosing my profession today as a dating & relationship coach.
In fact, I've amounted over 20,000 hours of coaching in the past 10 years as well as attending over 3000 hours in a variety of personal growth, self-help, and spiritual workshops.
But, that wasn't enough... it took speaking to 3 couples who collectively have over 160 years of marriage before I could recognize the common thread to successful happy relationships.
Did you read that? Over 160 years of marriage.
That's a lot of "we" time.
In today's video, we are going to explore the essence of how men bond with women from a long term perspective and why this is important if you're seeking a serious relationship.
Let's talk about... How A Man BONDS With A Woman ~ You Must Hear THIS!

It’s nearly impossible to get a guy to hang around long enough to even become friends. They push for sex, and then if you say no, they’re on to the next girl. I have lots of guy friends from work who are married, and they see that I’m a good girl, because they deal with me day in and day out. They ask me why I’m single, and I ask them, “Do you know any single guys who might even give things a chance beyond 3 dates?” Guys won’t even give me a chance, because they’re so interested in sex now, and it doesn’t matter their age. The last guy who pulled this on me was 50 years old and still acting like a f*ck boy.

You are so on point. It is true and so sad. So hopeless in a way. This generation and so on will be alone, older and probably die allone, without a meaningfull life journey and bonding with someone. With a real loving, caring compagnon. It takes so much to learn. So much time to find a match. So much time to know eachother. So much time for everything. I am allready 48. If i meet someone, we will not have much time left. The years fly. But i hope for everyone to find that for you and eachother special person to travel time together. The time that is left. Bless you so much from the bottom of my heart. Kind regards from belgium 🌿🌸🌿

Bonding for men takes time … and even though some women may be able to bond with early sex, it’s not WISE for her to bond with someone who may be an AWFUL person! It takes time to know someone! Early sex is literally lose/lose! Even if a man did stay after early sex, then you could be bonded to a disaster! Women need to be very careful who we allow to touch us because we get large dumps of oxytocin! Slow and steady courtship is the way! I recommend John Grey and Adrienne Everheart too 💖

Dude. I was trying to watch vids about Otters. They're adorable. Why did your content come up in my scroll? So I went with it. You said after 100 dates you realized the problem was you. And then got to work on you & self-care. Respect. I've listened to thousands of vids on everything. Lots of self development in general, for years, as I've had the luxury to do so while I work. Your 100 dates is like my billion vids. Seeing patterns, connecting dots, bigger picture coming together in new ways. An upward evolution cycle. I love How you call out b.s. or well meaning skewed/incomplete perspective content. (the mars venus crap pls stab me) There are things in your delivery/style that I didn't know I needed at this time that have Nothing To Do with Dating! But with being a more aware and expansive human in general. So thanks!

If friendship is how men bond with women, why are they usually so eager to have sex with the woman, and so quick to leave if she doesn't give in? Can a man stay friends for long with a woman he loves even if they're not having sex, and then marry her?

Men bond with women through activities, hobbies, mutual interest, sometimes through family and friends, and ultimately, intimacy. They bond from a friendship level. (From video)

  • @icysnow57cold64
    @icysnow57cold643 жыл бұрын

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone. Women tend to be more emotional, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Most women like to do affectionate things with their female friends like cuddling with them and holding their hands and be touchy-feely towards each other, while most men would never do affectionate things with their male friends (especially not cuddling with them or holding their hands or be touchy-feely towards each other). Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends. Females produce a lot more oxytocin than males do. And that's a reason why women tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than men do.

Great advice. I meet many men that don’t have hobbies or activities outside of going to clubs or drinking . Oh course the Netflix and chill. I often find the conversation hit a wall, cuz these men a content with where they are . Only connection they know of is the sexual connection. Sexual relationships is not strong enough to keep a long term. Conflict resolution is big , guy was say he is direct , which is fine . But in reality he has a lack for respect for other , which creates conflict. Then it’s a Im right contest, instead of wanting piece

Your the first man who says men bond through sexual intimacy. Every person i have heard says men never connect emotionally with a woman, thru sex. It means nothing to connect to a woman. Maybe nirvana as you say is what they feel. (But a woman it seems gets emotionally connected cos of this intimate act.) Thats why a man can have many sexual relationships with many women. ( though the Bible says it different, similar like you say.. Tne two shall become one flesh.. Thats also why one can guess that sex with anyone before marriage is dangerous for bonds are formed... etc).

So if you can answer this question. Is it too fast to bond with a man after four dates with intimacy? Should all the other bonding be done before sex? Just not sure if there’s a particular amount of time that should be waited until you have sex with a man. I don’t want to seem easy And I’m looking for a long-term relationship with this guy. As always thank you!

I say he wants toeave that door open so if the new woman he's chasing isn't for him them or she don't want him then he can always come back to you. I read where men and women can never be just friends because men can't do it because they have to have sex. But women can be friends with an ex or just men in general but nope not men.

Cannot imagine being friends with a man and then developing attraction. I develop attraction and affection first. Friendship comes later. Friendship is the « boring « part of a mundane and mature relationship. This is where you expel gas in front of each other and feel totally fine. Not into that...sorry...Be a kind and accepting lover to your man...not a mommy, not a successful leader...

Oddly enough, I'm approached by younger guys who want to get married. If my libido was lower, I might not mind a husband closer to my age. Too many guys now looking for short-term lust instead of long-term love!!!

What if you get along great and do things together, are very much friends, but he is not intimate, flirty or sexually available and she is and gently talks to him about it and expresses her concerns and how she feel un-bonded due to lack of touch or intimacy.... she will eventually end the relationship ....what a shame....

Norma Muniz, I'm in a similar situation with my hubby, been married for 28 yes, but don't want to leave him because of that as he has been a good husband otherwise and a good father, what I am thinking is to have an affair to satisfy my intimacy needs, is that such a bad thing @ Jonathan?

The men who are looking for love do not take the time to get to know women ...,I met a man a few years and we were just communicating via texting and phone calls .....and trust me Jonathan very sentence had something to do with SEX!!! I blocked him after 3 weeks... a big problem with interracial relationships is the fetishized factor.. I was afraid of that.. so I got out real quick... I do agree with what you are saying but some men just want SEX!!!🙏🏽
