I hate plants. When co-workers take vacation and ask me to water their plants, I used round up. One day, I am going into a store, fill up my cart with plants and empty them all into the trash.

Yes! Agree so much with this comment. Sometimes I'll see people show the growth of their beautiful plants but they would be hard to find or really expensive! This vid was a gem.

This is going to become my new background video when I am fiddling around my home and taking care of my plants… I’m going to make a special trip to her store in Brooklyn just to support whatever she is doing… My new favorite video and person…

This is a breath of fresh air. No pretension. THIS is how you “wear the dress, don’t let the dress wear you.” Also your outfits in that beautiful, bright house.. it’s just a vibe. ❤️ Edit: i keep hoping this never ends. I have paused so many times to just look at all the beautiful details in this home.

One thing i notice ab Summer that i can appreciate, is when she does these kinda of videos, she understand that the person probably doesnt know as much as her, and she approaches this delicately. When talking ab certain plants or teaching them ab them, she’ll phrase things in a certain way, for example: “This is senecio radicans- well, Curio Radicans i think-“ ...homegirl KNOWS its Curio now, but says I Think, almost to make it like she isnt a “know it all” in a sense? Idk how to phrase this but i hope you know what i mean

This has to be my favorite home tour! I fell in love with this gorgeous woman straight away, she has such a beautiful energy and what an amazing space she's created

I think this has got to be one of my favorite house tours. Her plant collection is incredible and her aura and personality are such a treat! And she's right about the pothos and snake plants, I have a snake plant that belonged to my great grandmother ( who passed in '64 ) and a golden pothos that belonged to my grandmother :)

The way she dress, the way she arrange her plants with those ancient and native style.. super love it😍 Love the people who still proud and preserving they culture..

Sister, I finally bought a Berkey Water filter! I drink it, cook with it, and water my plants with it!! The Berkey will filter pond water , and the filters don’t have to be changed often!♥️♥️♥️♥️

Her money tree! Love it! I brought a money tree home from the grocery store last year and put a $20 bill in the pot for my husband and kids to find.

LAWD… She had me about to run to Lowe’s 😂 I haven’t been the best at growing houseplants (I keep a medium-sized vegetable garden, but Mother Nature tends to it more than me), but she’s inspiring me. Thank you, sister!❤️❤️

It’s a lovely world that she’s created for herself inside that apartment, and she’s beautiful. That being said, I’m trying at this point to stop myself from getting more plants unless it’s something extraordinary because I don’t want to run myself out of any more space in my house. This plant obsession can get out of hand, and space gets taken up FAST. I’m already trying to figure out what I can do with the plants outside that need to come in before winter and crapping over how many I now realize that I have. It’s a bit over the top, and something has to give. I might have to do a purge on anything that I don’t “love” completely.

@@denisewashington1875 yep, good advice. I’m new this year to the plant game so I went a little crazy collecting them. This is my first time having to think of overwintering what was put outside-and it didn’t help that my mom “helped” me collect more by dropping off plants that weren’t on my wish list to buy 😂. Oh well. That’s life. I know where I went wrong now :)

I have made myself a grow room for this reason, and I already kinda had the room being used to grow mushrooms in monotubs 🥰👌 and if I can grow indoor mushrooms FROM SPORES !!!! I can grow ANYTHING

@@Mar13579 that’s cool. It would be useful to grow mushrooms for cooking with. As far as a grow room, the only two extra rooms are taken up by my husbands man cave and my daughter’s bedroom. It’ll be a couple more years before she moves out, so I have no hope of that right now. Just plants spread around the whole house.
