So reminds me of helping my dad concrete our double garage and driveway back in the 1970’s although we were lucky to be able to place boxing to make screeding the slabs easier, but it’s heavy work which ever way you do it. We were mixing 5 to 1 for the driveways and garage floor and 7 to 1 for pedestrian pathways around the house. Your kids are very able little helpers. 😀 Cheers from NZ

It was very interesting watching Edd and Loui. Putting the plastic, the insulation and the steel grating down, then cement for the floor!!! Very cool!! Loui and Edd joking....great!!

I’ve only witnessed new construction basement flooring being poured with concrete. It’s really a MAJOR task doing this to an old building remodel. You don’t have the ability to have a cement truck deliver the concrete and pour it on the floors. It’s very laborious to do this a wheelbarrow at a time. I love the banter that goes on with Edd and Louie, makes work fun. I heard you chuckling Anna. That’s amazing, snow on top of beautiful roses. In western North Carolina we get a lot of snow. Charles and Emma love it, they are adorable! I’ll see you on your next Vlog.
