I find it sad that Vhagar & Meleys flew together all the time when they belonged to Daemon & Viserys' parents (Baelon & Alyssa)....but now made to be enemies & fight to the death :(

Sunfyre and Aegon bond is one of the best bonds in the books. Too bad we only got to see a tiny scene of them together.

I am with you. I would have loved to see at least one scene of them flying around King's Landing and the people being in awe of Sunfyre's beauty. Though I will say in the short time we had, they did a great job showing that bond. That boop that Sunfyre gives Aegon before they took off is just amazing.

11:50-12:44 Steve speaks what I saw in this moment. These members of the council are arguing because the King Consort (Daemon) and the Queen (Rhaenyra) are not here, there is no Hand present to speak for the Queen. They are disrespecting Rhaenys, but when Lord Corlys walks in questioning this. He's a decorated, recognized noble, who fights in person one on one, or in the battlefield, and you're disrespecting his wife. I would honestly expect at least one person on that council wetted their pants when they heard that question, from that voice, even before they turned to see him. 25:08-25:11 Kitteh says "Screw this, I'm bouncing out of here!" 29:40-30:15 Clearly a veteran of TWD this Lacey is. Personally, I also doubt Aegon's demise, but I'm not as certain. Aemond was drawing his sword, as if to finish someone, when Cole arrived. Aemond sheathed his sword and walked away, but Cole's reaction falling to his knees. I think either Aemond was going to mercy kill Sunfyre, or to finish his brother, the mercy kill wouldn't be stopped by Cole (a witness), but I'm not sure Cole would collapse to his knees simply seeing his King "broken, but living" Side note... We see Rhaenys fall and we see the explosion of her dragon, but we're writing her off as dead, but we're questioning whether Aegon survived? Just saying it's a mess of hopes, wishes, dreads and fears. 31:42-31:45 Lacey: "Aemond did it though, is it because he wants to be king?" I would point you back to Season 1, when Otto and Alicent were competing to find Aegon, to name him king. Aemond did say [paraphrasing, I haven't watched that episode in at least 7 months] "If they ever come to name me king, they'll have no trouble finding me."

Aegon and Aemond are pretty much the medieval equivalent to some siblings today where their dad has a business. One sibling studies hard, goes to college for a business degree, learns the family business in and out…and when dad retires, he decides to hand the business over to the older sibling who barely graduated high school, never moved out, goes out clubbing every night, except when he stays home to drink or smoke pot. And yet, he expects respect as the head of the business simply because he’s titled as such, but doesn’t know shit about how the business is run. 23:15 - Look at the pretty house panther! Probably one of the most adorable things is seeing Aegon’s bond with Sunfyre. I think Sunfyre cushioned Aegon’s fall. Meleys died while still airborne and had no control. So I think that Sunfyre and Aegon are grievously injured, but not dead. While Ser Criston is an absolutely repellant being, his military instincts are actually pretty good. They cleared part of the forest for Vhagar and Aemond to lay low, and they could use the trees as battering rams. It was smart to attack Rook’s Rest and pick at parts of Rhaenyra’s council rather than to demand a largely ruined castle. Even when Aegon decided to show up to battle, Criston used it as a means to inspire the troops. Aegon’s playing checkers. Criston and Aemond are playing chess. RIP to the Queen who Never Was, and the Red Queen.

They did rhemys a disservice compared to the book. In the books she took them on 2 on 1 and almost still won. It showed experience on dragon back beats size of the dragon

I liked how they showed her courage and experience. I don't think the fact that it was initially one-on-one diminishes that.

While it was not at the same time she did in a way take them 2v1 she did major damage to sunfyre and did some damage to vahgar

I agree with you Lacey I believe that numbnuts is still alive and I really hate that Rhaenys died not knowing her son is still alive and I also believe Amend it's going to kill his brother until Cole stopped him what do you think

I agree. He is still alive. Badly hurt, but alive. That is why Amend had his sword out, I think he was either going to kill him or put him out of his misery, but Cole stopped him. The shot they showed though really didn't show much either way though to be honest (regarding his condition or that of his dragon).

this is a joke of people running around claiming they are something they are not; I saw a film of about 20 people wearing wolf ears and running around the woods howling to the moon and saying they are wolves, or men beating, up on women in sports claiming they are women, there are all kinds of examples.@@DuoReacts

This was a damn good episode. R.I.P. Rheayns and Meleys 😢y’all went out like OGs. When Meleys turn her head to Rheayns and Rheayns looks at her all sad I just knew they was going to break my heart and damn if they did 😭. I’m miss them Girls. I think Aegon is 💀 and I think Sunfyre is too. R.I.P. to Sunfyre, he had a stupid human for a rider and what happened to him is all aegons fault. I still don’t hate Vhagar, it’s not her fault it’s all Aemond. I could not sleep last night bcuz of the very last scene, Rheayns and Meleys falling from the sky, it’s like watching Rick blew up himself on the bridge 😢 I will never get over these images 😭.

Team Green and this is arguably the greatest episode of the series so far because every scene mattered. Criston proved himself a great commander and Aemond showed how much better he was than aegon in every way. Rhaenys plan was to win the battle she didnt expect both dragons to be there n the reason y Rhaenys didn’t retreat because the reward was well worth the risk. RIP my favorite live action female Targaryen.

Aegon's Dragon Sunfyre flipped to have it's back up to protect the rider. He landed on the dragon, it also circles him after to protect him as well. Poor Sunfyre just thought they were out on a stroll to casually burn some infantry. Her rider yelling at him in the common tongue, Sunfyre deserved better. :( Meleys also flipped upside down to protect her rider when fighting Vhagar and use the momentum to get ol grandma off balance. Epic fight but not really sold on Rhaenys getting blindsided, an experienced rider would know not to be vulnerable near such a big blindspot that she JUST had used minutes ago. There should have been a 3rd engagement that she lost, IMO. Don't wanna nitpick too much though because it wouldn't have changed the outcome most likely, but other than that it was great. I love how Rhaenys chose to go back in the 2nd time and the 3rd time Meleys said "3rd time is a charm?" and Rhaenys smiled and anticipated the turn instead of straightening her out. Great episode. RIP The Red Queen Meleys and The Queen That never Was, Rhaenys the Warrior Princess.
