Negan’s disgust over rape really needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. After all, he forces women through threat and coercion to be concubines in his harem. 🙄 I suspect he set that guy up so he could come in and save the day, play the hero, as part of the mind games he was playing to try and turn Sasha to his side.
I always like your reactions but the negativity at the end was nauseating, there is a difference between having an opinion and just being obnoxiously pessimistic... I really LOVED this episode and seeing this reaction kinda ruined it for me.. just my opinion though🫶

One thing that's kinda funny about this show is that Winona Ryder and David Harbour started out as the lead characters and top earners (still are) and now they've kinda faded into somewhat second tier characters given how prominent Eleven and maybe even some of the other kids are, even Nancy has more screen time than those two.

Giving other houses dragons is basically handing over some of your nuclear codes… the whole reason why this conflict is allowed to exist is because TOO MANY PEOPLE already have dragons! The Targaryens, the Hightowers and previously the Velaryons too (Rhaenys, Laenor & Laena). Everyone who has a dragon and a claim could go for the throne, like Aemond or Daemon right now, especially if it’s a large one

He went into Rebecca’s body and that’s why she’s tucked away. When they are tucked away in the memories that means someone else controls them basically. So Peter basically killed her without her permission.
Like whenever the kids are tucked away that’s when Becca or Peter are controlling them

I was amused by the references to duck vs goose in the conversation over the dinner as he emerged from his vision/dream about his mother. Rhaenyra and Laenor would approve.
We can’t always have action. They need to set up for the following episodes. I loved it to be honest.
The idea that thinner blood could possibly be a dragon rider. Look at Jace, Son of Rhaenyra and Strong, For that matter Aemond, son of Viserys and Hightower. This could mean any bastard of the line could be, and perhaps even their child. And didn't we just have a guy showing up claiming to be the son of another Targaryen's bastard?
The maid of Rhaenyra is Elinda Massey the lady in waiting she is very loyal to Rhaenyra would do anything for her.

I remember everyone hated this episode when it aired. If it had appeared anywhere else in the season folk would have loved it as they’d been clamouring for the backstory to Morgan’s new pacifism. But here? 😂 Everyone was screaming, “WTF! Really?! Get the hell outta here. - we need to know if Glenn survived!” 😂

29:08 I don't think her comment is simply about the power he gained but the cost to himself that it does entail. He is clearly going to have a problem when Aegon wakes up. This story arc is different from the book ...so who knows. * Helaena has "Dreams" and they use her in the show as a prophet if sorts. So far nothing she has said has been 100% matter of fact clear.. Shrug. Many forget she is a Dragon Rider and has a dragon named 'Dreamfyre'. It has been shown in the show. It breathes fire at a young Aemond S1 ep6 and Haleana rides it s1 ep7 when they leave the funeral at Driftmark.

Your theory about Alyn guys seems to be correct. This episode dragged on for many people, so you're not alone in that feeling. By the way, it's nice to have you guys back on a regular basis.
Alicent being angry that she is passed over for regent is very much a Leopards Ate My Face scenario. Otto ingrained in her that the realm would not accept a female ruler. She did what she could to undermine Rhaenyra and her sons as the heir and further line of succession, and she played her part in Aegon usurping the throne. But when Aegon is incapable of ruling at the moment, she is shocked and angry that the same council who participated in installing a male heir tells her that she can’t be the regent because she’s female. She championed the Leopards Eating Faces party only to be surprised when the leopard ate her face.

Parading a dead dragon through the streets was quite possibly THE worst decision they could've ever made! That decision reeks of Crispy! Dragons are symbol of their house and whatever respect and fear the small folk had for the targs is probably all but gone. As they said, 'I thought they were gods!' They just showed the people that the 'gods' can, infact, be killed! Well done you idiots!! I really hope I'm wrong though! I don't want anything to happen to the dragons! They're like big scaley cats with wings! I don't care about the humans. They can do what they want with them. Just leave the big firebreathing babies out of it!! Great reaction though. Love you guys! I also wanted to clarify that I didn't ask them to talk about my story on camera, but I wanted them to know this part of my life as we have become close. Thank you. That means a lot to me as I'm sure it does to Lacey and Steve. This was an episode which I was greatly looking forward to them seeing as I was getting closer to them and wanted to share this part of my life and knew this episode was the perfect catalyst to do it. I am really happy with the conversation that sprung from this, and it drew us even closer together.
Targaryen's are not immune to fire or fireproof. They just have a higher resistance to it. Daenerys however is unique. But not sure what that means because George won't finish the books.
Ser Criston misspoke about Aemond being the next in line, Aegon and Helena have a son at Old Town, and Otto Hightower mentioned that before leaving.
Daeron is younger than Aemond. So Aemond is still be next in line. And as of now in the show, Aegon does not have any male children. So after Daeron, they would have to get really creative for the succession. It would probably revert to Daemon then if the females are still not being allowed.
@@CraigKosteleckyWonder if they've gonna bring him into the show. Because I'm currently rereading this part of the book and I have no idea how they're going to adapt everything without making it confusing. So many characters and so many moving parts. It's so hard to follow at times. Kudos to them for doing such a great job with it so far.

@garrettbounds9412 Didn’t Otto talk about daeron, as in aegon's youngest brother, and not maelor (aegon's younger son). No-one's said anything about maelor even existing in the show as far as I remember
Daeron was mentioned first by Otto and then his dragon was mentioned by Daemon last season when he took count of all of the dragons. Daeron has a role to play next season. We might even see him briefly this season.
Aegon is alive but dear God. I'm sure if he could speak clearly he'd be begging for death. In the book it's said that the dragon fire melted his armor into his skin. The way he looked in my imagination was much worse than what we saw.

Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice. 6:49 it’s interesting the tapestry hasn’t changed yet to show the dancing of the dragons at Rook’s Rest. But I then realized that the history hasn’t been written yet. I wouldn’t be shocked if the stitched image showed Sunfyre killing Meleys. 13:13 This is my favorite part of the episode. From the awesome shot of the Bracken slowly riding away from Caraxes, to the immediate cut to Daemon sitting with that defeated look. Then to drop the line “I did not think they’d be so eager to die” is just perfection. 16:28 Hot D is taking incest to a level that makes Game of Thrones fans cringe. Steve’s look after the revelation was priceless. 21:09 That dog and Corlys need to get together. They both could use a friend. 22:36 Hi Vermax! 30:13 It’s nice to see Jace step up in this episode. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes. Final thoughts: I see this episode as setting up the mayhem we will most certainly see in the final 3 episodes of this season. I really enjoy the interactions between the battles. Without those, the battles don’t mean nearly as much.
Right? The two deaths were sneak attacks, but when Aemond was actually battling, Rhaenys brought Vhagar straight to the ground lol
