Waking Olivia along with A Love Letter to Whiskey by Kandi Steiner are my favorite contemporary romance books ever! Love that you liked it!

Stayed up until 3am reading Waking Olivia after seeing your goodreads review and then stayed up again the next night reading the next book in the series Drowning Erin. They’re SO good thank you for the new fav romance

Waking Olivia was one of my favorite reads this year so I’m glad you enjoyed it - for Elsie Silver, I haven’t read flawless yet but I read 1-3 of her gold rush ranch series and book two was a grumpy damaged hero and I enjoyed it the most out of 1-3 - AMKIYL, I couldn’t stand the beginning either but I held through and enjoyed it a lot by the end. Almost DNFd it though because of how prude and naive wren was so I totally get the dnf

I LOVE Elizabeth O’Roark. Love Waking Olivia and The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. I have had one that didn’t work for me, which was No One But Us

I read another NA romance by Monica Murphy and it truly was so terrible it made me want to never pick up another book by her lmaooo BUT I loved Waking Olivia so glad you got to finally read it!!

I LOVED Waking Olivia!! Definitely one of my faves this year. She actually wrote a companion book that follows Will's brother and the girl that befriended Olivia on the team.. Drowning Erin. I haven't read it yet but I have downloaded it from KU!

Waking Olivia was good, and I agree Olivia behaved appropriately to how someone with such heavy trauma would. I was just so so annoyed with her attitude of "no professional can help me no-one can ever understand me"...like, I get that's her experience so far but it just annoyed the hell out of me... Also NOT a fan of justifying cheating by making the one who is getting cheated a bad character.

Yeah, no. So glad you DNFd the book. I totally get the teenage boy at times grossness, I’ve worked with quite the dude bro in my day but sometimes in new adult it’s just….weird. And I think as a mom and soon to be teacher there are things that have just become Thanks but Nopes for me and this book sounds like a hard pass! Very happy you enjoyed the other two

A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime sounds like a retelling of Cruel Intentions. I hated that movie.

My bf would like would never deviate from his chaste self to hook up with me. Can you believe it? 4 years and nothing!

I’m probably going to hell for this, but I don’t mind cheating in novels when the person getting cheated on sucks, is boring, etc. 🫣
